Very comfortable
I wanted a swing/hammock I could connect to two trees. I couldn't get comfortable in my hammock to sit up and read. This chair is perfect! VERY comfortable. Easy to set up between trees. The only negative I have is that if you let your legs dangle, the chair will roll up a little under you (not that you would fall out... just not what I was expecting). You also can't put your legs in it straight at all. Maybe you could if you made it so your back wasn't totally supported by the chair, but I didn't really buy it to to lounge in in this way. I put a small outdoor table in front of it and use my feet to swing me in the breeze. I love it.

Great idea, needs a couple of improvements.
Great system, strung up and used for a few hours today. I never was uncomfortable like sometimes trying to sit in a normal hammock. The pads and smaller body size really work well, you can sit up, lay back, shift to the side, tuck a leg inside, everything is pretty comfy.Only two issues for me are:1. The bag-everything comes packed in the bag when shipped, however; after installing the pads, it was hard to get everything back in. It does not make sense to have to take the pads out and re-install every time. The straps barely fit with the bag closed. I would like to see a larger bag or an additional bag for the straps.2. The Talon Straps-Great straps, plenty long but they need more loops sewn in. As is, your trees need to be pretty far apart or wrap the strap around the tree multiple times (not a fan of that). More loops or make the tree straps like the center strap, with buckles (like onewind straps) for infinite adjustment.Overall I would definitely recommend this hammock chair, with some tweaks from Wise Owl or your own straps and extra cinch bag this could be the perfect chair to add to your camping/lounging kit.Hey Wise Owl, do you have any cinch sacks with your logo on them? Would love one for the straps to live in.

Study cinch buckles!
Aug 19 2024 updateThe last two times I used this hammock the cinch straps worked perfectly.Very comfy. Even tho I hammock often I wasn't experienced with cinch buckles...so it took me a long time to get the straps tight enough. As I worked with one end the other would get loosened , repeatedly. The straps are supposed to be 6 feet up the tree so that means I was always working with my hands over or near my head. Maybe this hammock is easier for taller people. Once I got it set up I relaxed and napped a little. The cinch buckles I later investigated online all appear a little different, most are just a simple webbing thru a metal buckle without two added strap pieces - I don't understand their purpose. You can curl up easily in this chair and flip/move around as you wish, whereas in regular hammocks it feels more difficult.

Works great with my patio swing frame!
It just came today, so I can't speak to durability (although it seems high quality and I don't anticipate any problems) but I was so excited to try it out! The fabric of my patio swing tore, but the frame was fine, so I thought to try a hammock chair, and this was one of only a few that uses 2 attach points instead of one with a bar. I wasn't sure if the height would be good, but by using the springs from the original swing, and 4 all of the included carabiners, it's just about perfect (it's probably a little high if kids wanted to sit, but I don't have kids). It's very comfortable, I expect to use it a lot!

A great idea that just lacks good execution
I own a variety of more than 16 hammocks now, and six of those are Wise Owl. They make great and affordable products. So when Amazon Prime Day came and this was on sale for $27, I snapped it up. I've wanted to try this hammock chair as it looked comfortable.I knew it would be much bulkier than my other hammocks, including the three hammock chairs I already own. But the design promised comfort and maybe could replace my zero gravity chairs I take when I tent camp.I was shocked first at the choice of fabric (not the better quality ripstop), and secondly by the amount of poor stitching and frayed fabric in places. Someone didn't do a job well, and/or someone else didn't inspect well. Still, it was solidly built where it counts and can hold a good deal of weight (if it can keep it off the ground).Hanging is a little bit more of a chore, but logical. However, the amount of stretch and give from the initial install (the strap about six feet up) and where it settled was alarming. It placed me mere inches from the ground. So I readjusted. Not much better. Adjusted more. Not much better. Then the pillow inserts. They are very necessary, but still not effective enough. I found it was uncomfortable under my thighs no matter how much I tried to adjust. The positions from sitting to kicking back work, but not all that well. I found it more comfortable to sit at an angle. In short, I'm glad I only paid $27 for it. And no, I would not buy another one. But if I have a big enough group of people, someone will have to use this one while the rest of us have better hammocks and hammock chairs.Better alternative? For light backpacking and day hikes, the Onewind chair hammock if you don't weigh more than 200 pounds. For an even better experience? A custom chair hammock from Dutchware Gear.I love you, Wise Owl, but this is one product that requires some more wisdom to be a truly market-worthy product.

Worth the weight
I go backcountry camping so every ounce counts and this thing is hefty however it's also the only hammock I want to sit in ever again! You need some serious room to set up however. a majority of the trees were too close together you really need a set at least 15 feet apart 20 is better to achieve the tension requirements , I tuck my feet up and sit criss cross apple sauce and knit in my favorite forest on earth and it was absolutely amazing. It also acted as an excellent source of amusement trying to sit in it at different angles but for once I didn't feel like I was in a sausage casing . I also loved that I could take down my chair at night and leave my straps up

Great swing
Love this swing. Easy to set up and move around. Comfortable as hell. I am concerned the material may rip over time..however I plan to simply re enforced the seams jist be to safe.
