No. The ZEON Platinum's wireless controller will only work on that particular winch.

Is this ok to mount out i the elements? I love in Maryland where it rains a ton and they love salt in the winter. Oh sometimes i drive through creeks

Yes. Unit is solid state and sealed. Nice upgrade from the older style

Eill this replace the old 4 solinoid system

On anything except the “I” series where the solenoids were in that overhead bridge above the spool. You may have to modify the bracket a bit but yes. I upgraded my 8274 with this.

could I use this in place of a solenoid pack on a non-warn winch WITHOUT using a corded remote at all? (hard wired in cab controls)

Possibly but depends on how many wires it take from the existing solenoid to motor. Some were 3 some were 4.
