Was running out of plates. These are un breakable and easy to wash. If you are cutting food with a sharp knife. Be advised, cut marks on the plate will show. But I don't mind, they are not fine china, work good in the microwave to. Perfect for the casual eater.

Love these plates! Light weight, but sturdy. Plates are large, colors are really nice. Food doesn't stain. Terrific for the price. Very happy with them!

Serves the purpose of something to put food on. These are light, large enough to keep you from going after seconds, wash up well. There may be a durability problem but mine have survived three months of hand and machine washing. If you glued six thick paper plates together and painted them faded colors, this is what you would have.

Just don’t use them if you need to use a knife on any item on plate it will leave knife marks. For sandwiches and any other item they are great, easy to clean, and microwave safe.

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little leery of ordering these, but I looked at other plates and I liked the shape of these. However, I wasn't expecting a full 11" diameter (which these are advertised as) because very few plates are listed as this size. Most are a little over 10" which most of our current ones are. These have to go in our cabinet at an angle due to other items there. That's not the fault of these plates, though.Part of our reason for ordering these was to be able to reheat food on them in the microwave and they work well for that. Another reason was for their unbreakable property. I've broken too many glass plates and cups already and don't need more broken glass. Our melamine plates (which we didn't know are not recommended for microwave use) would get hotter than the food in the microwave; now, we know we're not supposed to be microwaving them. We also have a few plastic plates left, but they've been cracking which is why we were looking for replacements. We've only had these wheat plates a few days. Therefore, we won't know how they'll last. They seem strong enough and we know not to use sharp steak knives on them.

These are light and very cute but if you use metal cutlery they scratch. My concern then becomes bacteria. As long as my dishwasher can sanitize them I will reuse them but I will not handwash them as I have safety concerns.
