A fun book for fans
Found a signed copy from a seller here on Amazon in excellent condition. Arrived ahead of estimated delivery date, well packaged. Thank you rhino-claremont. Definitely did not need a signed copy, but for not much more than buying new at regular price, it was a nice touch and excellent find.I was well aware before purchasing that this book would not be a heavy read. Alexa has stated in numerous interviews the text portion of this book was taken from e-mails and napkins, and she herself is not tech-saavy nor is she a writer. However, for any fan of Alexa this is a great little memento to flip through for visuals and quick musings to read.

It review
This book is absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan of Alexa Chung, so I guess that's influencing my words right now, but really, the book was quite interesting. It was more of a bloggy type book (as in, it was more her rambling about trends, necessities, clothes). So, it wasn't a novel, I would say. But overall, I loved it. If you have time, give it a read. The actual book itself (as in, the design of the book) was also really cute and indie. I've never held a book made of that type of material before.

Worth Reading
Fun to read. I read it in one night, and sat up most of the night to do it. I enjoyed reading about how Ms. Chung developed her style, the people from whom she drew her inspiration, as well as art and films. It's more of a guide on how to develop your own sense of style, rather than a "what-to-wear" guide, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't that type of book. However, if you want to know how to create a style that's perfect for you, and find clothing and accessories that you will enjoy wearing, this book gives you plenty of ideas about how to look for inspiration and guidance.

It Was Okay
Not what I was expecting. I'd seen a lot of positive reviews so decided to purchase. It's a bunch of one page opinions and memories. Really felt like I was reading a teenagers Tumblr page circa 2013, not a book by a distinguished person in fashion. It was interesting and a super quick and easy read, as most of the book was pictures....not that the pictures typically aligned with what was written. If that's what you're looking for, you might enjoy it but I'd also recommend Amanda Brooks' "Always Pack a Party Dress". Easy read with lots of photos, but edited to be cohesive, informative, and inspiring.

Wonderful book
Easy and wonderful read, one that you can read over and over again or jump into at random. It reads like a conversation, and makes you wish more and more along the way you were actually sitting down with Alexa Chung. I refer back to this book often and will forever be one of my favorite comfort reads

Not worth the hype
Ok. This book was nothing better than ok. Honestly, I probably should have only given it two stars it was that bad. I personally love fashion and I have read and liked numerous other "fashion insider" books but this one basically felt like a joke. The only remotely interesting thing in this book is when Alexa references the people that inspire her fashion choices. But, if you also feel that Jeremy Irons floppy hair makes you want to wear burberry and miu miu then you and Alexa are two of a kind (anyone who read the book will know what I am referring too). Her whole post on "how to take a selfie" was so bad I couldn't read the whole thing. The whole book feels like she took her "I try to look like I don't care but I do" attitude a little too far. She honestly gives no worthwhile advice or even puts an effort into making the book interesting. If your are going to spend $30 on a book, buy Grace Coddington's Memoir! She is the stylist for Vogue US and that book seriously inspired me so much more than this crap. I wish someone would have told me how bad this book was and I would have been $30 richer.

ALEXA!!!!!!!
Didn't really know what to expect from this book. I was pleasantly surprised, though. It was very unique, with dialogue, pictures and original drawings. Absolutely loved it. A must for any fan of Alexa Chung, or fashion in general.

Great find!
Bought this for my wife as a stocking-stuffer this Xmas and she loves it! Interesting to find a hardbound book without a dust jacket, but I really like that about it. I feel the material used for the hard-binding is more coarse than your average hardbound book but it adds to the creative element I suppose (this is a fashion book after all) and gives it a sturdier feel. Great as a small coffee table book.

There's not a lot in it
Its not a memoir like you would expect. You'll finish it in 30 minutes flat. It's a mindless collection of miscellaneous thoughts and pictures. Seems like Alexa didn't put any effort into it. Not worth buying, really.Anyway I'm giving it 5 stars because I had read the Guardian's review of it so I sorta knew what I was getting into and because the product itself came in a nice condition with a problem free delivery

Great BOOK!
L'histoire d'une IT Girl.
