This is a brilliant little thing. I'm somewhat wary of sticking things too far in my ear but they say cotton buds can make wax worse so got this more out of curiosity than anything. Fascinating to see inside your ear and would imagine it is useful to clean out lumps and bumps (I found out there wasn't much in mine) One lady mentions using it for other stuff like looking at tiny insects can imagine it will be amazing for that - I may try peering down the plughole next haha. It comes with a fair few different attachments for its intended purpose, I would be cautionary about sticking them in your ear too far but imagine a lot of us looking at this product go against advice and stuff cotton buds in them anyway, so as long as you're careful ... Picture quality is not bad at all for such a cheap price, just dont expect hd and a steady hand will help. Great for its intended use but its a brilliant little toy to poke around in other stuff too. Just ensure when you try to use first time/connect to the app you switch the pen itself on beforehand and if nothing happens press the button again (the LEDs should be on) then press that little 'house' Internet button again on screen and the picture should pop up.

Going to “turd sandwich” this one by putting the bar thing between two goods, as largely this product is, not only practical and easy to use, it’s a damn lifesaver and I’m sure has stopped me going crazy and perforating an ear drum!It’s easy to use, camera is excellent, has a feature which warns you if you’re going to close the tympanic membrane (ear drum). Can’t say it gets too hot. In fact, I can’t say I’ve noticed any heat change at all, which, considering the size, is testament to the craftsmanship of this little treasure.My one criticism is battery life - it doesn’t last very long. I suppose one could argue you shouldn’t be messing around in your ears for too long, but I would expect to not have to charge it every other week when it’s only used 1-2 times a week for short amount of times.Great value for money and a great way to clean your ears and keep them free of waxy build ups and deposits.Keeping my ears wax free has reduced my tinnitus significantly, too, so that’s a bonus I wasn’t expecting after over 10 years of suffering with this.Great product.

The product works very well but looking at some of the 1 star reviews it seems people have misunderstood how it works. This camera needs a high speed data link to the phone for it to work. This is accomplished by the camera being a WiFi Hub that the phone effectively logs onto. When you do this on your phone, you will get the message "No internet connection", "No internet access" etc. This is perfectly normal because there is no internet connection, you are connecting to the camera directly using WiFi as a bridge. There is no need for the internet for the camera data to be transferred to the phone. Some phones may object to the loss of internet and drop the camera WiFi connection and go back to your previously working WiFi hub. You might need to acknowledge the warning message and force it to stay on the Camera connection. If you really want the internet at the same time then your phone has a data connection anyway for the short time you are using the camera.This product setup is different to a security IP camera that has effectively logged onto your home / house network so it is visible by all devices on the same network or available for a remote login. This camera device also prevents you from casting the phone screen to a TV screen, as both the TV and phone must be on the same network to do this. Casting simply isn't possible as the Camera is providing the WiFi hub connection, just so it can transfer the camera data to your phone. It is a relatively low cost device and works extremely well. The battery life is about 15 to 20 minutes but sufficient to do the job and is acceptable. It has a small internal battery to power the WiFi hub and the LED lights. If you follow the installation instructions and accept the phone warning message saying "no internet connection" you will be very happy with this product.

Helped me discover I have an ear infection! As you can see my ear is very inflamed and full of discharge :( the last picture is of my healthy ear for comparison.I thought I just had a bit of wax and it was affecting my hearing. My GP wouldn’t see me before but now I have photographic evidence so fingers crossed!The little tools are great, not useful for my sore ear because it hurts to touch but I wouldn’t know otherwise.The camera is great, easy to set up with the app and simple to use. The quality of the picture is good and if you clean the lens it makes a big difference, I imagine I could get clearer images if I tried as well.Nicely packaged, defo recommend for anyone wanting a tool to check ears, nose, throat or teeth even I suppose!

Easy to get up and running with the app.I identified that both my ears were badly bunged up with hard wax and spent an hour getting it all out but had to revert to my ear syringe bought last year from Amazon.However, it is very tricky to get your bearings using the tools on the camera and requires plenty of patience…don’t think this is a quick fix, it can be very frustrating to use.You can use the camera to look at other parts of the body and I can see it would be great for kids to use for looking at the world in a magnified way…insects and the like.The light has 3 settings and you can swap from wide angle to focused but couldn’t really see a big difference.What the camera did is identify the issue I had in my ears and once sterilised the whole family checked their ears and can see the eardrum and they were all clear.

Thank God I ordered this product. Spending a lot of money to get the same results makes no sense. I was excited to get it because my ears pain is horrible. The app was easy, you can take pictures and record. If you're having trouble make sure you press the button on the camera until the light comes on, then go to your settings on your phone and connect to the ear camera then click the home button on the app. I hate reading the instructions so I figured it out. This camera helped me finally get a CT scan because I was able to capture the inner ear debris when I woke up because doctors kept saying my ears were fine.Looks too yucky to share so I decided to share how nice the picture of my inner ear came out. Don't waste money on those expensive products because this will do the job.

It gets hot the longer you have it on, the heat in your ear is very uncomfortable. It's a bit too big for little kids ears (just using camera to check for ear infections). Picture taking feature is nice to keep track of healing progress.

This tool has been life changing for me.....I have chronic ear infections and this helps me to monitor the ear drum and know when to return to the doctor before the ear drum ruptured! It takes a little bit to get it to connect to my phone...but it works amazing and i save photos to show my doctor!

After getting it charged up, downloading the app and getting it all set up, I booted it up for its first use and wow…. That picture quality was horrendous. There’s absolutely no way that it was anything higher than 240p. Value = 0%
