Game changing Camera for aspiring and growing filmmakers
I purchased this as I got more work for freelance videography due to COVID and I have 0 regrets about my purchase. This camera was a learning curve to use coming from a Sony a7siii, but the difference is incredible and streamlined for video. The image quality is always remarkable and it's been an awesome journey playing with different lenses and experiencing the vast difference in RAW codecs vs the h264 one on Sony cameras. The battery life is an issue and you do need to rig this camera up. In retrospect I probably would choose a v-mount and will probably upgrade to that in the future over using NFP batteries. The built-in NDs are a game changer and some in clutch. The ergonomic functionality of WB, ISO, and shutter speed buttons makes this camera really intuitive and easy to use. Overall no regrets. For those serious about film making and want to improve the quality of their work, this is the best alternative on the market now.

Camera does not turn off from the power switch
I purchased this camera as a gift for My nephew overseas, when he open the box turn the camera on then camera never turn back off even if you press the off switch, the only way to turn off the camera is to remove the battery from the camera, contact seller, seller Never return Orrespond to me, very frustrated from the purchase I will dispute the whole transaction

Best video camera value today
I couldn't decide between this or the Sony FX3 so I bought both. While the Sony does better in low light and doesn't have the BM crop factor, head to head in normal light theses cameras are in different leagues. The BM has a shimmery pristine video image that quite frankly is as good as anyone needs. It's flat out gorgeous. The BRAW files load and render quickly in Resolve and you can edit them until they're virtually perfect. If you don't need auto focus and you can live with the 1.55 crop factor this is an amazing camera for the price. For any price.

Blue tint on screen
I loved my BMPCC 6K and needed a 2nd one. I decided on the Pro version since the price wasn't much different. It turns out most of the on camera screens have a color tint that makes them very far from accurate. Since I film everything in Blackmagic RAW if my color is off a bit I can fix that. The color shift doesn't effect the footage or the video out over HDMI so it's just the LCD screen on the camera. I almost sent it back but it looks like it's just a roll of the dice if I get another one with this issue. Blackmagic said they are working on a firmware update that will fix this issue. I'm gonna wait and see.

Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K Pro counterfeit and would not power on be careful
Would not power on nor would the 12v adapter power it and when it it was a blank screen? No welcome screen, no registration notifications…etc it just truly seemed cheap to me and did not work, did not power up I had to remove and insert battery to get it to power on? I am in film school and actively working with multiple camera workflows, I use Blackmagic 3-4 days a week it definitely does not feel like a Blackmagic so to be safe I am returning after picking up 8 hours later I returned for a refund
