8ft. Ornamental Garden Windmill, Red and White

All parts/hardware and pieces were included (plus some)... except for the ground stakes. No matter, I was planning on using the 'question' suggestion of pieces of rebar with a big rock securing it. Suggestion was great.The color is true, the paint appears to be powder-coated, the instructions were cohesive and it has been working as expected with wind direction.It took me about an hour and a half to put together with 'loose' screws and then another hour to put 'Lock-tite' on all the screws before tightening them - starting at the top.All in all, it was worth the effort and is secure and looks really great in it's home destination.A bit of color, very country looking, easy to put together and working as expected.Glad I chose this product.

IT HAS A GREASE FITTING WOOOHOOO LOOL. Nice, well working wind mill. I love it .. Heres good/bad to not ramble. MAKE ME #1 REVIEW LOVE YOU ALL.GOOD: has grease fitting, sturdy, good paint seems durable, blade is well made and squared which really cuts in the wind and spins well. its a step down from a 12ft legit one.BAD: The NUTS provided are square and rough cut, and there is a ton of them. if I do another one, I'll go buy my own nuts. they tear your fingers and are hard to start. this is a big deal because there's at least 100 of them. the plate seems unlevel, but it stands well.

Windmill is sturdy & long lasting. Original one I had lasted 10 yrs before it was struck by lightning in the Catskill Mountains of NY. Tedious to assemble. Not difficult , but plenty of nuts & bolts so it’s time consuming. Spikes adhere it into the ground for stability & it has never fallen over. Freely blows in the wind during all seasons. Please note- This is not to be climbed on by children or it will topple! Beautiful addition to the garden & loved by bluebirds.

this was time consuming to say the least and like other comments the directions were no help. You just have to figure it out on your own, basically. it looks pretty good as a prop but the spinning windmill is a bit stiff and doesnt turn in moderate wind. it has to be pretty guesty to turn. I still have an older one that was wood and it rotting, this why I tried this metal one, but it spins easily even in light wind. Little bit more well bit and better bearings in it. So in conclusion, not bad for a garden prop but dont know if they all are like that and have stiff bearings? I thought it was going to have a grease zert but guess I read wrong on the description. A grease zert would be awesome and would help the stiffness.

Just what I expected. After reading some reviews where people said that they had problems with bolts loosening up after a while from vibrations in the wind. I bought stainless flat washers and lock washers before I put it together. It made for a bit of extra time in the assembly but in the long run I hope it is worth it. Looks good out there in our flower garden, my wife loves it. Can't wait for next spring when things are in bloom. I would have given it 5 stars but I noticed some of the powder coating looked to have a wrinkle in it. Hope that it does not peel in the future. Well it did start to peel on the underside of the top most square platform. I will address this in the spring with spray paint. added 02.25.2019

My husband purchased this for me for my Birthday. The color is spot on and the wind mill is of good sturdy quality. Just need to make sure you keep it oiled. I would make a suggestion either to the seller or the buyer - We live in Southwest Nebraska and it is not uncommon for the wind to blow 30-40 miles per hour every other week or so. After having the mill up for less than 1 month most of the nuts and bolts had fallen off and that goodness we noticed it before it collapsed and bent the metal. I strongly suggest getting longer bolts and also lock nuts. We replaced all bolts and added lock nuts to all bolts and it is quite secure at this point in time.

Although they sent the wrong color, I still liked the unit, and they credited me 10% right away once I let them know, and I did not ask for that. They offered it right away

We bought this last year. It was a bit to assemble (lots of pieces) but once we positioned it in the garden and stacked it down with the stakes provided... WOW! I LOVE it! It has lasted all extremes of weather this past full year and it still looks NEW! We live in Minnesota, so we have very wet springs, super hot/humid summers, very windy falls & extreme (-40 or more) temps with harsh arctic winds (Yes, WE had the Polar Vortex!) We have had the strongest winds this past year, several times, and that thing had stayed in place and kept spinning a bazillion times! Yet it looks like we just put it up today! I highly recommend!
