Green Cardamom Pods (2.5 Oz) Fresh JUMBO Grade Natural Hand Selected

I tried many other brands and this is by far the best one. Large fresh pods full of black flavorful cardamoms seeds. I grind the seeds very fine with a coffee grinder. Add a pinch to Turkish coffee or even cappuccino before brewing and you get a delicious, aromatic and digestive coffee. Not cheap, but worth the price... Keep the bag sealed and it will last a long time.

I purchased the cardomom to help with weight loss . I have noticed that chewing a few pods can make my stomach feel full and also kills hunger pain. I did not like the taste at first but gradually got used to it ...it taste like a strong cough drop . I also currently have a cold so I have been chewing these bad boys like crazy because it soothes my throat and the only time I'm not coughing is when I have a pod in my mouth. The only thing that I have noticed is that quite a few cardomom pods where dried out. its a alittle pricey for such a small bag so that was alittle disappointing.

Cardamom lovers know that you always buy whole cardamom. They also know that the very best pods will have plump, black, shiny seeds and we usually pick through pod after pod of withered, tan, dried out seeds to find a good one. That is not the case with this product as every pod I've used so far has been perfect. I eat the seeds straight out of the green pods and let them soften a little in my mouth before chewing them. I also use a mortar and pestle to grind the seeds and make tea. Known as the third most expensive spice in the world I personally think this price is fair for the amount of work someone did to give you only the best pods. Cardamom is my favorite spice so I splurged a little ;)

I thought this would be a very fresh product because of the price , but is is not

Very fragrant and fresh. A couple of these pods and fresh ginger make some fine hot tea. First time ever buying fresh Cardamoms but can't imagine finding better whole Cardamom pods anywhere. 10 Oz. of these is a nice size bag and will go a long way. Good Green Fun !

I have to say, this is the best quality cardamom I've ever bought! It's kind of pricy but if you get it from elsewhere, you'd end up paying the same, if not more, per capita. With other qualities that I've bought before, atleast 50-60% were dried out and useless. With this brand I'd say atleast 95% of them have been the quality of the picture I just posted. Basically, pay the same or more for inferior quality, or pay same or less for the better quality and honesty.
