We recently moved and the previous owners fed a couple families of deer. The deer still expect treats, so we found this. They love cut up apples, but this gives them more to chew on. We don't give them a lot, but it lasts longer than the apples!

The deer the we see are fantastic.
I purchased this after a section of my fence was taken down by a storm. the deer started visiting us and I wanted to keep them coming to visit. They are amazing to watch.

It brought in deer
I bought this product as bird feed!! I needed something for my 2nd floor balcony, that I could mix with the peanuts I put out for the Jays & woodpeckers, but didn't want to have the mess that normal bird feeder seed makes...this being mostly corn & sunflower seeds fit the bill. Shortly after I started using it, I noticed that directly underneath where the feeding platform is, several sets of deer track...I'm sure the birds weren't dropping alot, but it was obviously enough to draw the deer over...It has an awesome scent, by the way!!! Any old Mechanics would be reminded of "Cherry Bomb" hand cleaner!!! If you're using it to feed & attract wildlife for viewing, it's a fantastic product.If you're baiting, stop it...learn to hunt, chump.

Food that deer love, but sometimes comes with holes in the bags.
The deer love this food! I order it 2-3 times a month. The thing I don’t like is sometimes the bags come without rips, but other times it comes with food all over the box because of holes in the bags. I think you can do better.

The Deer Avoid It
The good news is our squirrels did not eat it. The bad news is that deer won't either. We had 5 deer in our yard this morning and they walked right past the deer blend with absolutely no interest, preferring to eat old dead leaves on the ground next to it. I guess the other good news is that it was a fairly cheap experiment which will be going into compost.Now, it could be our deer. Perhaps they will warm up to it. If so, I will change me review.UPDATE 09-03-24: Deer (at least ours) hate it, so does every other animal that encounters it. Here is one of our deer sitting right behind me drinking water. In the dish next to it (to her left) is the Big Tine Blend. She sniffed it and walked away, would not even taste it.So, you want to put something out that no animal will disturb? This is your mix. Guess I will put some around our plants that the deer eat. Seems to work better than coyote urine for keeping them away.
