We have been sailing the South Pacific and we have prematurely lost spices to rot quite often. These handy little containers allow us to keep spices fresher longer. Though not inexpensive, they do pay for themselves in the cost of replacement spices. If we do have larger containers of spices, we vacuum seal the quantity that does not fit the container.We also add 1/2 gram silica dry packet to the Spice container and keep all the containers in a sealing plastic bin with a 5 gram silica dry packet.

Does ok but not all the air gets out. But it does hold a vacuum.

for the price & what it is I highly recommend this. Idk how but it does vacuum seal pretty well, contains smell of herbs and keeps in any moisture so they don't get dry if they set a little while. I will be ordering more

Obviously works well as a container. It won’t pop open on its own which is nice, but I’m not sure about it keeping things “fresh” though. My herbs dried out quite quickly.

great for researchers. I like to put this one inside a glovebox and bring my sample inside this container. Then the container will be with low-pressure inert gas. After I take the container out of the argon glovebox, it is airtight therefore the inside can maintain argon environment.

This took 4 weeks to arrive and when it did, it already has a crack in it and doesn’t seal correctly. It’s not worth waiting another month to order a new one, I’m going to tape it and hope for the best.

I love this and I will be buying more.
