Direct fit for 89 Chevy C1500 single cab truck. Front and rear speakers are the same size. You will 2 sets(a set comes with 2) total of 4 speakers. Mounting is relatively easy. Just take you time because the old plastic interior panels can crack if not careful. The sound is better than expected. These so not have the base you would have vs a 6x9. They sound more in the mid-range and highs. I highly recommend a subwoofer enclosure, preferably on behind or under the seat. There are many to choose from. These can handle amplifiers for better all around sound if you want to push them. Still- most head units have enough to get you by. Price is acceptable for the sound quality. These are not competition but seriously- most of us aren't back in the "pimp my ride" days where its over the top. If you want something better than the stock and have a good or better head unit- I highly recommend them. If you just something to listen to, just buy the ones around $20. Competition guys- I'm sure you already your speakers/amp/subs/head unit combos.

The speaker sound amazing for the price

Not much bass but sounds much better than stock. The high range sounds nice and crisp, lows are dull as you’d get with small speakers. Overall a good deal for your money! I’d buy again!

Direct oem replacement and sound great with factory stereo system.

I installed in the dash of a 88 S-10. Swapped from a pair of Sony’s to these and it was definitely an upgrade. So far they shine great.

Impressed with the sound these offer, and the clarity of the sound. They sound rich, especially compared to some cheaper speakers I opted to put in the front of my truck. These aren't incredible by any means, there are certainly speakers out there that will outperform these. That said, these offer an excellent price-to-performance ratio that I think most listeners will be pleased with. Install wasn't entirely painless. There was no way to get four screw holes flush with the sheet metal of my truck to screw it in, so I opted to instead reuse the plastic factory founds. This works pretty well, I haven't noticed any significant rattle but it may be impacting sound quality a bit. You could probably get away with using 3 screws, but the self-tapping screws I was using were rather loose and the OE mount was a better option in my particular case. May go back and screw it another time.

Fit perfect in OEM position. Old OEM speakers were torn and bad. These are much much better then original. All I had to do was splice the connectiing wires and drill new holes to mount them Install took about 30 min from start to finish to include removing door trims, covers and reinstalling everything. Very happy with them and the sound is great with my new upgraded head unit on my 1995 C2500 Sierra truck.

Good replacement speakers for the old OEM factory speakers, that are 23 years old! I put these in the rear doors of my 2002 Chev 2500HD. I drilled new holes, and used #6 X 5/8" screws. I used gaffers tape to build up a gasket for the hole. That should help with any vibrations. They sound pretty good, for fairly inexpensive speakers. Definitely better than what was there! Running off of the original factory AM/FM/CD player. Oh ya, some 6 inch speaker leads included.

Far superior to the stock rear (parcel shelf) speakers that I was replacing in my 1990s Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Coupe. In this car, no additional cutting was needed in the parcel shelf, although you'll need to get your Dremel out to enlarge the hole within the speaker trays. Grills fit on top without any modification. In a 964 you won't get modern day stereo sound with these, not without an amplifier and a sub.

These turned out to be quite good replacement speakers. Initially, I tried the Pyle 4x6 Speakers. They were, honestly, worse than stock speakers. They were hollow, low powered had poor quality construction and loose solder connections that caused noise and static and eventually stopped working. In contrast these Kickers were AWESOME! The construction is far better. Connections solid, cones more robust and even though they are rated slightly lower, there's little comparison. These are, BY FAR, better speakers. They may be approximately double the price but I am 100% happy with these one. I can crank the volume and while they do lack a little Bass as do all 4x6 speakers these are by far the best I've tried. night and day. Other brand couldn't handle high volumes at all. Sounded hollow, tinny and flat. These ones on the other hand are sharp, clear and robust even for decent Bass. A single Sub would be a nice addition to these for very nice sound but even on their own these perform very well for 4x6. I very happy with these speakers.
