It's whey protein *concentrate* AND isolate combined. This is better, imo, than isolate which tends to have too much sweetness to it and is more clumpy and harder to blend... I mostly don't like sucralose but allow it in this product only bc it's so good. I always get the vanilla.. Mix with orange juice.. It's like an orange Julius.. Perfect for adding a little flax seed to it.. Delicious. It's my fave. I've ordered it repeatedly. It's honestly the highest quality protein powder available on Amazon. Better than gold standard which I know is wildly popular. I just don't like it. This is good *because* it uses both concentrate and isolate which I suspect contributes also to the higher price along with "whey flation"... Check the ingredients. You want concentrate if you know what flavor you're looking for. Not isolate.

I like this protein powder. It tastes like a milk shake, and it's whey! All the way. What more can I say...

This protein powder mixes fairly well in a shaker bottle. I have had a few clumps left over an a few occasions, but overall it mixes well. I had to try this brand because I was looking for a good go-to vanilla protein and this got great reviews. An important aspect of a protein powder for me is taste. I was looking for a fairly neutral vanilla flavor because I'm not the type to crave something sweet after a workout. Muscle Pharm's Vanilla flavor gets 4/5 stars. It's fairly sweet, a little sweeter than I'd like for a vanilla flavor despite only having 1 gram of sugar per serving. The flavor is easy to adjust by adding different amounts of water however. You can stick with the recommended amount of water or water it down to take some of the sweetness away. This is leaning a little more toward a vanilla ice cream flavor and I think a vanilla should be fairly neutral, especially if you wanted to mix it in with a smoothie.If you like your vanilla flavor on the sweeter side, this is a great protein to try. And at 25 grams of protein per scoop, taking this after a workout will leave you satisfied. This was a great deal for a five pound tub.

The MP protein is one of the better tasting and mixing proteins I’ve had. It doesn’t have a lot of additional carbs and calories which is essential when using this as a meal replacement option, or just an additional supplement on top of meals. A+

Great size, texture and smell is good, protein content is efficiant, easy to use and blend and fills you up. Taste is great and easy to mix with peanut butter

I've seen a lot of people using this as a replacement for ON's gold standard protein powder due to ON's price is somewhat around $11/lb now. Although this one is quite cheaper sitting at ~$8/lb, but you do get what you pay for.problems I have with this product compared to ON:1. it doesn't mix well with a spoon. By not well I mean really not well. It's even worse than muscletech's nitrotech one I had a long time ago. Luckily the clump does taste very nice, so I can accept this at a $3/lb discount. In comparison ON mixes well with little effort. Taste-wise, I rate this product's chocolate milk flavor in between ON's natural flavor chocolate and ON's double chocolate. The smell doesn't really impress me, but the taste has a bit of milky sweetness which beats ON double chocolate's almost bitter clump taste.2. no BCAA count. Now since this and ON's product are all made with whey isolate as the main ingredient, I cant find a reason their BCAA content would be so much different; and if you survey online you'd find out the internet is arguing constantly whether BCAA is really that useful in protein powders just as other supplements, but since ON and muscletech both proudly mark their BCAA count right along the protein count, I also don't see why MP wont mark it as well unless there's something cant be told. No artificial colors and gluten free? I really dont care. And it's like protein powders really need gluten/colorful colors anyway. A BCAA 5g tag would serve your customers better.Now I heard ON's strawberry flavor is down to ~$8.5/lb for prime members. I've never tried strawberry and mostly had chocolate related flavors before, but I'd say with only 50 cents per lb difference I'd go with ON. Otherwise you have to make your own choice whether the factors I mentioned would worth the $5 you save over 3 months.
