These seem to be getting harder to find!
We use these in the painting class for applying gesso to the surface before painting. They have thin plastic inside the foam brush, so they hold up well, instead of turning into a floppy noodle. I'm glad I found them on Amazon!

Much better than local store stock.
Jen Mfg makes a quality foam brush that's much better than Home Goods stores. Worth the price and delivery is fairly quick. Local products fall apart quickly and Jen foam pads can actually be rinsed and re-used. I buy them in bulk and use them often.

They're just the best...
Quick review:I've used many foam brushes and have found all of them to be flimsy to some degree or another, especially foam brushes purchased from big box stores. These are the sturdiest brushes I've ever used. There's some sort of core that extends from the end of the brush into the foam, at least 2/3 of the way in, and it's much more rigid than others. What this means in practical terms is that you can paint or stain with much more vigor, as you would with a normal paint brush, without a fear that the foam brush will snap in half. You feel like you have more control over your brush with these. The foam is denser than others too, so it seems to hold more paint or stain and goes on really smooth. These are THE BEST brushes I've ever used, as far as foam goes.100% recommended!Hope this was helpful.

Best Foam Brush I have ever used
I have been using foam brushes to apply tung oil finish to my wood working projects for several years now. i find foam brushes do an excellent job at applying finish and are inexpensive enough you can dispose of them after a single use (cheaper than using mineral spirits to repeatedly clean a non-disposable brush). Up until now, I had been buying my foam brushes at lowe's....the foam brushes sold there are generally around $1.15/piece. they are poorly made and often break/snap in half when you are using them. I never really gave it much thought because I have always viewed foam brushes as throw away/single use items. A few months ago, it occured to me I might be able to find foam brushes even cheaper on amazon (not sure why I never thought of this before). I found these foam brushes and ordered 2 boxes. not only are they cheaper than the brushes sold at the big box stores...they are CRAZY high quality. The handle is super stout and the foam is probably 2.5x as thick as the ones you buy in the big box stores. these foam brushes are incredible and they make applying finish much easier than using the cheap, chinsey brushes sold at local big box stores. i will never use another brand of foam brush again. Would HIGHLY recommend and will DEFINITELY buy again.

Best brushes
Thick dense foam. Thick 1/2" wood handles. These are the best brushes. Hold up well to solvents and stains and won't swell and fall off the handle like so many others. I use them for applying Tung Oil and Citrus solvent( Real Milk Paint - Half&Half) to wood. Not all foam brushes are created equal. These are great. Check the seller.... It did take 16 days to get them because the seller used DHL and they seem to have troubles with deliveries quite often. Will order again but won't wait until I run out next time.

Good quality for the price
These are quite nice quality for the price. Much better than what you get at the big box stores--no fraying or fling apart. I'm using them to brush satin floor finish onto some steps and they're the perfect size. Would buy again.

Good for a quick job
After using for a while the product did tend to come apart. But the brushes are inexpensive and plentiful so just grab another one and go. I know this is a use and throw away product but it could last a little longer while in use.
