Pretty darn good! Note mix doesn't make a lot of scones.
I've tried a number of scone mixes. So far this is my 2nd favorite. (My 1st favorite was from a family-owned cottage industry brand and I can't get it anymore.) So as far as actually being available, this one was really very good. They baked really well, were not dry. They certainly crumbled a bit because they are scones, but they crumbled less than other brands. I would buy it again. Better than the Sticky Fingers brand in the bags that are in fruit colors for sure. Only thing is it did not make that many scones. This mix I got 8 rather small scones. Other mixes, including sticky fingers, make 12 scones. The brand I had been getting made about 16 good-sized scones. So this brand is good. I will buy it again. Other buyers should just be aware that it makes a smaller amount. If I was serving them to guests or something I would bake two packages of these. My eight small scones could have been 6 medium-ish size. 5 stars for flavor, texture, ease of baking, and baking up well. (I did put a quick milk wash and some sugar on them. The milk makes the sugar stick.) Not so many stars for the amount the mix yielded. But I will buy them again. I pick flavor over quantity.

The best scone- I’m British
The media could not be loaded. First of all, if you go to the store and buy a scone they can be three or four dollars. This mix generously allows about seven nice size scones. There are endless possibilities with this scone mix by just adding butter and some milk and mixing with your fingers the dough comes together beautifully. My first batch was with a really good chocolate chip. My second batch I did with gigantic blueberries. It’s the perfect combination of a little bit soft, a little bit chewy and a little bit crunchy. Of reference the scones are not sweet if you prefer a Sweeter scone, add some sugar to your mix. The scones would be fantastic with cheese as well. I brushed mine with a little bit of cream and some coarse sugar to finish them before I put them in the oven. I am now ordering my third box. These are high-quality, they mimic British scones. The price might seem high per box but the yield I a lot of delicious scones! I serve mine with clotted cream and jam and they were to die for. I’m getting now ready to sign up for subscribe and save. They are so easy to make it’s unbelievable

Good taste, instructions were simple, small yeild
Pros: good taste, when I prepared the scones they puffed up as they should, the instructions were easy, and I liked that there are alternative recipes on the boxCons: i was only able to make 8 scones and those 8 scones were small. I also found the dough to be annoying to work with

Scones for brunch
We have traveled to the UK ( England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland ) B&Bs and Tea rooms. We love scones! I discovered the Garvey’s scone mixes, and have made them my own. I usually do the Blueberry using fresh blueberries and Kerry Gold butter and 2Tbs. sugar and 6 packets of Splenda. They are delicious and a hit for brunch or breakfast. I love them and order 6 or 12 mixes at a time from Amazon. I tried a couple of other mixes when Williams Sonoma stopped carrying Garvey’s, but started ordering directly from Garvey’s and then from Amazon. I always have Garvey’s mixes and supplies available to make B&B and Tearoom quality Scones!

Best scone mix
This is the best scone mix I have ever tried. I first bought this mix to make scones for a party. My guests raved about these scones because they came out very moist and fluffy. Highly recommended!

A LOT of money for a bit of self-rising flour
A LOT of money for a bit of self-rising flour, and that's all it is.It made 6 fairly good scones, so that was $1 each!Don't bother, just buy self-rising flour and save a bunch of money.
