Good Stuff
Black garlic has become a staple in my cooking. We love the stuff. I prefer these whole bud varieties. I have only one concern. Farming techniques are not easily verified, and foreign grown garlic is known to be highly questionable. It doesn’t appear to be grown and prepared in easily regulated locations. I HOPE it’s actually Organic, but there are no guarantees.3rd batch still looking good!

I read reviews before ordering which were mostly favorable. Mine was a gift and to my embarrasment they were moldy and soft. They had to be thrown out.

Product of China , grown in raw sewage
Chinese garlic is grown in raw sewage and the bleached with chlorine.

Umami in a jar
The flavor is very unique, but amazing! My husband made garlic parmesan chicken wings with this and they were delicious. It has a very mild garlic taste, and a slight sweetness, but definitely unique. Amazon's prices were much better than my local grocery and just as fresh.
