Lilac: An Enemies-to-Lovers Romance

This book is not for the faint of heart and definitely not an entry level romance book. The plot is good and *no spoilers* but keeps you on the edge of your seat the ENTIRE book from beginning to the very end. Don’t let it’s size deter you, it’s spicy and worth it. Keep a bucket of cold water by for emergency cool offs 😉

Reid and now I want to read every single book she has ever published because this was freaking phenomenal. I went in completely blind and boy was this book a wild ride. A fantastic mix of characters, spectacular writing and an interesting plot. Also, the pace was perfect. I seriously enjoyed every. Single. Page. “Lilac” was my first book by B.B. Reid. I was expecting a little more from this enemies-to-lovers story. I loved the chemistry and how the author did it in a MFMM story. The sex scenes were steamy and super hot. I thought it was a big book. The last 150 pages were my favorite from the book.I enjoyed reading this story because I’m a huge fan of rock star band genre.In the end I think the author wanted to say that you can find love everywhere or whichever color you want to paint your life.Loren, Houston and Jericho were three hot and sexy men every woman wanted to have in their life. They spread sex appeal in each move they make together. They are really a unit.Braxton has a broken past just like the three bad boys. In the end they were meant to be together in a strange way people couldn’t accept.Readers if you are looking for a MFMM and a enemies-to-lovers story you will love this book.

This book... just wow. Typically I'm in to more of the darker mafia style reverse harems, so this was a bit different than what I'm used to, but it absolutely did not disappoint. If you like your romance books to have a balance between plot and spice, then this is the book for you. The FMC Braxton is sassy, strong, independent, and stubborn as heck. This is a girl that sticks to her guns. The MMC's are hot rock gods, Braxton's idols, and total jerks. Stereotypical famous musicians. But oh my god, does Braxton ever dish it right back to them. The characters in this book all compliment each other so well, and I love their personalities. Overall, this book was amazing, it was spicy, it was suspenseful, and it had some darker elements that I was not expecting. Be warned though, this book did have a M/M scene which I was not expecting, nor was I upset about it, but I know that's not everyone's cup of tea!I would give this a 4.5 stars overall, and the only reason it wouldn't be a full 5 is because I love spicy scenes, a lot...
