This soap is a very natural alternative to the harsh soaps and shampoos that have sulfates in them. I bought it because I wanted an alternative to soaps and shampoos that are too fragrant, too irritating, too chemically, etc., This soap has very few ingredients and has nearly no fragrance at all. It suds up very nice and quick with very little needed. I've used this soap over a year now and have never had a problem with it on my skin, face, or even using it as a shampoo. It makes a great shampoo and I don't have to follow up with a rinse or conditioner! At least for my skin and PH balance, it works great. I buy the block and cut it up into 6 soap bar size bricks. I use it for a soap and shampoo all in one. Perfect every time, no skin irritation at all. Depending on your water, it may leave a build up over time in your tub but that is expected with any soap and shampoo. It is very very easy to clean as well. For us, it is worth it!

High quality product that cuts and melts very easily. If you’re using a light scent the soap does mask that so it works better for stronger scents.

This is my 3rd time buying this clear glycerin soap base, and I keep coming back because it's so easy to work with for making homemade soaps. The 2 lb block is the perfect amount, and the unscented formula allows me to customize the scent however I want. It leaves my skin feeling super soft too. Definitely recommend if you're into DIY skin care!

I read some reviews before & if you heat it up more it works fine... I use a fondue style pot or w.e I got from the thrift store ($5) low med high setting... And I don't take it past med cuz it'll start burning but I add my turmeric mask combo to the base while it's hot (Honey turmeric sugar and other oils)....I pour it in a glass measuring cup and then into the molds.... Just heat it up more if your equipment won't do it just get a fondue pot, hot plate w.e. I like the fact that it hardens quick Im able to mold more soap in 20 minutes then in an hr + with another Shea butter soap base. I make shampoo bars also I like this brand so far it's the best that I've tried and hands down the easiest... Sell larger quantities(your competitors do)

The good to this product is if you like bubbles, its got that. It cleans well, but it doesnt do much for softness of the skin afterwards. But.. The smell of this soap is extremely hard to cover unless you add a half a bottle of essential oils.. it said it was clear, it’s definitely white. It has a very strong dial soap smell. It sweat pretty bad, but im not sure if that was my fault for trying to cover the smell or what.. but i had different expectations of this product. This was my first time making soaps, and im not sure if there is an unscented base, but this is definitely not it. Not completely satisfied with this purchase but it is what it is i guess. I had intended to make a bunch of soap bars for my family when we went to our family reunion last week.. unfortunately nothing worked out so i scratched the idea totally.
