LIBRA 2000lbs Trailer U Bolt Kits for 1-3/4" Round Trailer Axle …

These bolted right on in place of my rusted out mounting hardware on my 3500lb axles. Seems to be well built and with any luck they will last 20years like the factory equipment did.

The U bolts and hardware all look to be made of quality steel and fit perfectly. I would caution everyone to measure the threads on their current U bolts and make sure that there is enough thread on the new ones. I was fortunate to have a tap kit and was able to cut another inch of threads. Also, the box that the parts shipped in had a small hole and a nut managed to escape. Luckily I had one of those in my nut and bolt bin. Overall a nice product.

I live close to this distributor so it’s within a day but they still ship out almost as soon as you buy it! Great product and description. I’d like to see them put all of the hardware in a bag just in case the box gets damaged, the individual nuts and washers don’t get lost but mine arrived just fine this time.

I bought this for my 98 Cherokee because in the reviews someone else said they worked for an XJ. The spring plates I received were not the same ones in the picture, mine had extra bends in it. The plates won't fit the XJ leaf springs because they are too narrow, I should have measured. The U bolts are thicker and look better than original, however they are not threaded far enough to work and they are a little too long. I made the plates into strip-washers to beef up my old rusty spring plates and to take up more space on the U bolt, which allowed me to get the nuts tight enough for good holding power, around 70 ft-lbs. Be prepared to modify for Jeep installation. Overall looks like good quality hardware.

This worked well for my spring replacement.

Putting a new axle on an older trailer and these worked great. What I did not take into account was the width of the leaf springs on the trailer. They were 1 7/8" wide, so the Ubolts were not an exact fit. A Little modification and everything went together as I had hoped. Good product, just pay closer attention than I did.

Much better quality than the ubolts I replaced.I have made several trips both locally and to the camp with no issues to report!
