No, I don't think it would but I was never able to use it at all.

Would this tool be able to help with zipping up the sleeve for an edema therapy pump?

All I know is it works fine for zipping up my pants. I never seen the sleeve on that therapy pump, but I think it should work.

Is this large enough to button pants?

No the hook is not large enough to button pants, shirts only.

How well would this work for the top (at the neck) men's shirt button?

This item works great - especially for button holes that are small or difficult to pull the button thru. Highly recommend it.
