Clore AutomotivePL2410 10-Amp Fully-Automatic Smart Charger, 12V and 24V Battery Charger, Battery Maintainer, and Battery Desulfator with Temperature Compensation

This is my second Clore charger. My first charger only charges 6 and 12V batteries. It has worked flawless. This 24V charger is used to charge my battery bank used as back up for our well pump. I used to have to individually charge each battery. Now I can charge two at a time. The charger has worked perfectly each time I used it.

Works as described. The rest of the shop uses 6-12 volt chargers and complain when a coach comes in and has a 24 volt system. No complaints here.

Really like this charger. We are using it to charge our 24v Floor Scrubber and once in a while a regular 12v battery.Been very useful.

I've heard a lot of good things coming from Clore, so I decided to give this unit a go. Appears that I set my expectations too high, as they refuse to back their own product.I attempted the Force Charge feature on 2 motorcycle batteries (down to 1 and 3 volts, respectively). Didn't work, but I accepted that it was largely a 50/50 shot. On my third attempt charging a larger 850 CCA battery (SOC 70%, SOH 90%), it made an audible click and just flat out died. No lights or audible beeps/noises.Disappointed with its resiliency, I contact their warranty department. Although a warranty-related defect was identified, they won't cover shipping. If I'm dropping >$130 on a unit that totes best-in-class performance/features, I shouldn't have to be out of pocket to cover shipping costs for their missed QC.

I am a professional technician and I seem to have issues with this sophisticated equipment. I realized this a sensitive machine and it won't work good on old batteries. I had a cheaper harbor freight charger that was a straight forward technology. I can't return it but hopefully I figure out.

The device is definitely a great AGM charger. I bought this after failure to charge with Schumacher 15a model which pepboys used that model they told me it was a bad battery. I said that's not possible because I bought it 2 weeks ago at full CCA at 12.4v.Yes it did charge to 100% plugged in and it auto detected instantly the battery and voltage.Note: might be my battery but let the battery settle for 4hrs then plugged the charger again. Oddly it read 95% charged and 12.2v. So I charged it again, couple hours later it said 100% and I just hope it's fully charged. No way of really knowing. The voltage doesn't make sense and my multimeter says 12.9v. So I'd say the digital read out isn't accurate on voltage and not sure what it bases 100% charged on or what that represents if it doesn't show you the total CCA or detect the AH.It's charged and works but cannot be sure it's fully charged because of the inconsistencies in readings.Pros:Easy to charge, pick between 3a and 6a for AGM. 10a will ruin your AGM and kill the lifespan.Lightweight and cables wrap around and clamp nicely to the bottom.Sturdy buttons and clear indicators.Negs:Not sure what 100% is based on or accurate. 2nd attempt to charge also went to 100% as well but voltage is not reading the same as my multimeter. 12.8-12.9v is fully charged for an AGM odyssey 100ah 1150cca battery. But is it at 95 or 100%, not sure.

From day one this charger didn’t trickle charge 24v (two 12 volt batteries in series) very well, it would say error on the screen, charging a 12 volt was ok till it made a big popping sound and started to smoke !

I bought this to keep a couple of AGM batteries in good condition until they are set up in a small solar power package I will be making. This product's description states it can be left hooked up indefinitely and will exercise and monitor batteries.Nope.If I discharge the batteries, it will charge them, the orange "charging" light goes off, the green "charge complete" light never goes on, and it's finished. It never does anything further unless I unplug it, disconnect the batteries, and start again.… The request for this review came the same day I packaged it up and returned it to Amazon!
