We bought the smaller ones to feed the birds and keep their food drier when it rains to prevent mold. These large ones are also great for holding the large deer blocks off the ground. They do the job nicely for that and for bird seed. So glad we bought these. Highly recommend. In fact, the birds are now visiting the deer blocks along with eating the seed from the smaller trays.

I love it when I buy something and it works great. This bird feeder does just that. Easy too! Just fill it up with bird seed and watch the birds flock to it. It's wonderful to watch. :-) Since there are mostly doves/pigeons, magpies, crows, and the little finches where I live, I buy mostly dove bird seed, then I also buy bird seed for the little finches. And for the magpies and crows, I buy regular bird seed for wild birds medium to large size birds. Then I fill the feeder mostly with the dove/pigeon bird seed because they're the ones that love to peck the birdseed in the feeder. The little finches do too if they can squeeze in between all the pigeons, lol. In 1/2 hour the food is all gone and the feeder tray is empty again. So it definitely works beautifully and does what it's intended for, so I'm happy I bought this. I love feeding the birds and when they're done, they just fly away and there's no clean up involved because it's just bird feed and that's all gone, lol. Anyway, love this product and the fact that I can just fill the feeder and place it outside on my walkway. Convenient, easy, and there's no clean up involved. So easy for me, easy for the birds. And that's a win-win.

Very nice. Good size holds generous amount of seed. Everyone seems to appreciate it. Birds and squirrels too. My old one was about half the size and had to constantly or often refill it. So far so good. Thank you.

I love this feeder tray. I bought four of them. The mesh holds all the seeds but let any rain drain through. The construction is excellent. I used small bungee cords to attach them to my deck railing. It works great. It gets crazy windy here and the feeders remain stable. I waited till they were on sale so I got a great price too!

Great product! The birds love it!

Works great! Holds even small seed but doesn't hold water so seed is not floating in water after a rain. This is a nice size for several birds to share and the design is easy for birds to grip. Since it is open, squirrels enjoy it as well. I've tried making 2 separate stations - one with bird food and one with corn for squirrels so the birds don't have to wait on the squirrels. It has held up well for several months. Just be prepared to wipe the surface under the feeder, as small dust falls through. The reason I don't have a "traditional" bird feeder is that a wise racoon kept unhooking my hanging feeder, sending it crashing to the ground. So this tray is open to all, but at least I don't have to keep buying a new one every month.
