Using with a 3D printer heat bed
My heat bed says it's draws 350w, but actually draws closer to 450w per an inline meter when it first starts up. This 600w p/s had no problems at all handling it. One minor issue I had was initially when I wired up the p/s, it would shut down during any sort of load. Turns out it shipped defaulted to 220V; easy to resolve. It is a bit noisy as the fan always runs regardless of temperature, and it's quite loud as other's have noticed. The Amazon listing is a bit light, however it has short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature protections. It also has a remote sense port in JST XHP connectors, however I haven't used it yet.

very good power supplies
I have two of these units, and both works very well. One is over two years old and runs a 3/4 hp motor on a millingmachine. It runs daily. The other runs a 3/4 hp motor on a cabbingmachine. This is a quality product and well made.

Replace fan, power supply is reliable
The fan was very noisy, so I replaced it with a quiet Noctura fan, which made a BIG difference in noise level. I am using this on a Prusa I3MK3/S 3D printer and it is works very well. Good purchase.

Installed in my Ender 5 Plus to replace cheap PSU
This PSU was nicely packed and protected. I wanted to replace the cheap 500w no-name PSU in my Ender 5 Plus printer with a better quality and higher wattage PSU - The 600W was perfect. While I had to mount it externally, I was already aware of that and ordered it anyway. I printed a set of mounting brackets with protective covering for the connections and it mounted easily to the back of the Ender 5 Plus - this did require punching holes in the control box case and lengthening some wires (as well as adding grommets to protect the wires.

Nice power supply for the price.
I added a 400 watt heated bed to the printer with dual 30 watt hotends. So it need more than the 450 watt power supply it was using. This gives over 100 watts of cushion so the power supply is not being stressed. Only thing is needs is a temperature controlled fan. The fan is loud and constantly on so a fan cover to direct the noise to the rear was needed .

It’s big and built to get the job done
This thing is serious. It’s about 2 x the size were use to for a power supply. For those complaining about fan noise relax this thing is about business and that superficial lowering of the fan is secondary to what is most important.

No fan speed automatic control.!
Awesome PCU... But we live in 21 sentury, we accustomed to have fan speed adjusted for actual current, not run at 100% on zero load! If esteem Mean Well developers search fotums, first thing quite a bit of DIY-rs do - replace noisy fan to reputable one or add fan controller. Do Mean Well guys just not care, or is it a way to cut corners on 100$ PCU?!! Pity!

Works great, use for 3D printer
Bought this to replace a cheaper one I got. It hasn’t given me any issues yet, my ender 5 plus 3D printer really likes it. The only thing for my printer is that the cables are kinda short, it’s doable without any serious modifications, just cutting some cable ties.
