I have purchased these straws many times. They feel like a plastic straw and do not have that dry feeling of paper. They are durable and will last all day. If you are going to use straws, buy these and do better for the planet.

I don't love the feeling of paper straws in my mouth, so I was worried about this veggie straw product. It didn't feel exactly like plastic, which was okay. It was smooth and sturdy enough that it didn't bother me to drink from it. And I loved not having to add another plastic straw to the world! I would buy them again for sure. Very high quality, as far as straws go.

I wanted straws I could use with hot liquid to sip my morning coffee, which supposedly reduces tooth staining from coffee and other beverages. These straws work really well and I've grown comfortable sipping coffee this way. (Note: I add milk to my coffee, so it's not super hot. I don't know if the straws would hold up equally well with a "piping hot" drink, but I would not be surprised if they did.)

I like these straws, they don't really taste like anything but when you open the box it smells like bbq sauce so I definitely believe they are made from veggies. They don't dissolve in your drink and are a great eco friendly alternative to plastic straws.

These straws are amazing! I fully expected a slight taste or that they would get mushy after exposure to liquid, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they act like plastic straws in pretty much every way. No taste, same weight and consistency, and they remain the same even after hours of exposure to liquid. I literally have no complaints!

I can’t drink my iced coffee without a straw and these are an environmentally friendly, sturdy, and affordable alternative to regular plastic straws!
