Buy it. You won't be sorry
For over 10 years I have owned a sit inside Old Town. That kayak served me well, but with some back issues cropping up I found it difficult to fish out of it for more than a couple of hours. I'm not sure how I learned of the Vibe brand, but I am glad I did. I took a chance on this based on articles and reviews. We have no dealer close to here so I ordered it without ever testing it. The deck is not open for much standing space, but I really have no intent to stand in my kayak anyway. I am content to stay sitting in this super comfortable seat. It seems that Vibe took the time to think of just about everything when they put this kayak out. Lots of rail space to mount accessories. The center console has nice handy dry storage areas in the small compartments, and the magnetic portion on the top is a really nice touch. I did not have a rudder on my previous yak and having one now is a nice perk. The kayak tracks nicely through the water and manages decent speed. I am still getting used to the stability and how far I can twist, turn, and lean in this craft. I am impressed with its stability thus far.Two little gripes I have are: The tie points in the cargo area don't hold very securely. I would have preferred a closed loop tie out or something like that. And the rear storage isn't very big. It's sufficient, but just enough for a crate. If you have rod holders on the crate they have to really face fore or aft. They won't fit facing sideways.

Love it!
I have never kayaked before and love to fish. I'm 6'1, 175lbs, and in my upper 46 years old. Wanted something that got me off the shoreline and into the waters while also being comfortable. This kayak was perfect! First time out I was out for 5 hours and did not even get tired nor have a soar back. Seat is super comfortable. Even caught a fish my first time out which was icing on the cake. Glad I did my research and found this kayak. Can't wait for my next trip! One con from this newbie is it seems that the locking mechanisms that hold down the center console can unfasten easily. It barely takes any pressure to unlock them. The top 2 orange fastners unfasten when loading on roof of car so I take out the center console before loading. This is reason for taking away 1 star. I'll call customer service about this. Other than that I love this kayak.

Very nice Kayak
This is a great kayak. However, for me, it is too "wobbly". I am 58, 6'2, and about 215. I get real nervous in this thing, when I reach back behind me, I feel the need to be extra still and careful. I flipped it once as I was trying to get a feel for how tippy it was. I would never try to stand in this, but Youtube vids prove me a wimp I guess. I had everything lashed down and only lost my small anchor. And of course, ALWAYS wear a PDF.It is a beautiful Kayak, but I think my 13 yr old grandson would be a perfect match for this yak. I love the Vibe brand, but will go for the largest one next purchase. Happy fishing, and stay safe.

Great kayak at a great price.
This kayak is unbeatable for the price and options it comes with. The hero chair is comfortable and the kayak tracks well in most environments. The ability to modify the kayak is almost limitless. Great for first time kayakers or even veteran kayakers.

Very versatile kayak
I use my vibe to float the spring fed rivers near my home. Some swift currents and some calm and this kayak works amazing in both! I've had 2 other kayaks that just didn't work for those conditions. (Preditor 13 was too long and difficult to steer in swift currents, Acend 10 set in style, which handles well but not very comfortable) The vibe is a great balance of both, only complaint is, I weigh about 225 lbs ,and the seat straps loosen as I float, so I half to continuously adjust. The vibe is rated at 425lbs. Other than that I'm very happy with it!

Great fishing yak
My husbands fishing boat. He outfitted it with GPS fish finder, battery, rod holders, fish boxes, etc. It is well thought out. BUT HEAVY. Putting this atop our RAM 2500 Diesel is a bit of work for both of us together, compared to my longer Ocean Kayak. Nice wide stable fishing rig.

Perfect for the price!
If your an angler, this is the best kayak for under $1k. It put everything at your finger tips for fishing. Don’t hesitate you’ll be happy with your purchase. If you live anywhere Georgia they will deliver it to you within 2days. I live in NC and a driver brought to my house personally. Sure beats my F&S Engle Talon by a long shot. I know there is a big price difference but it’s well worth it if you plan on being on the water for any length of time. GET YOU ONE!!
