Good for dorm room
Used this as a nightlight in my dorm room - it easily attached to the side of my bed and provided good lightMy roommate appreciated the fact that the lamp could be dimmed so I could see but she wasn’t irritated by the light despite sharing a small room.

Great for the price
Easy to mount and gives good brightness and color options. You can also fold in to the desired angle which is great advantage. Had it for over a year now and still work well.

On Off Switch
I bought two of these lamps. They were just right for the purpose I needed. I love the three brightness options and the flexibility. They were working just fine for more than a few months. Then, all of a sudden, the on off switch on one, stopped working. When I press on it to click the light on, it does nothing. When I let the button go, the light goes on for a half second and goes off. And on the other, the wiring on the neck began separating. I don’t know why this is happening, but it would be nice to get replacements because I’ve done nothing but use the lamp in a normal fashion. But, unfortunately, I’m not counting on it. Is this their built in obsolescence? I don’t know. Guess I’m just gonna have to buy another two or just eat my money. Maybe that’s the plan. Anyway, aside from this issue, I really did like these lamps. Purchase with caution.

great!! only one small issue-
it is a really great lamp and worth the money however the only issue I had was that the clip isn’t super sturdy. It moves around a bit and if you’re not careful you can knock the lamp down. But! The lighting is amazing and I love the different settings. Even on the lowest setting I can see perfectly. I can study while someone else is sleeping in the same room and not bother them with a huge, blinding light! Again, the only issue I had was the clip but even that was very easy to maneaver around. The lamp itself is sturdy and easy to move around and adjust. Overall, great purchase and I’m happy with it :)

Nice lamp until it failed
Bright enough to pay bills with at a desk or other close-up spot work. Guess that it would need 5V to be brighter. The flexible neck of this lamp is VERY well-made - it stays where you put it. Just fails to turn on after a year of very moderate use -- used maybe 3 times a week max for a few evening hours. No stress on cabling, on/off switch still clicks. Light on switch still illuminates when plugged in. No lamp LEDs come on or flicker. Because LEDs last a long long time and the flexible neck of this lamp is so well-made, it feels like a real shame to just toss it. Because you need resistors between power and LEDs, you can't just bypass the switch assembly with pos and neg wires even if you were willing to plug it in in order to turn it on.

Decent low power USB LED light
I like these lights enough that I currently have 3 of them (and may buy more in the future). While I like this light, you do need to keep in mind its strengths and weaknesses. On the weak side, these lights are not super bright (so don't try using them as the main lighting in a room) and they do require you to supply your own USB "charger" to power them. For those of us that have USB chargers built into home outlets, supplying our own "charger" is no big deal at all. Also, for anyone who has collected extra USB "chargers" over the years, using one of those chargers for this light is also no big deal. But keep in mind that you do need to supply USB power to this light. On the strong side, this light is very low power (so your electric bill should barely notice its use), the LEDS in this light should last for years, and the mounting allows you to adjust the "accent light" to exactly where it would be most useful for your needs. As a result, I put this light where it would be handy to have extra light as an "accent" or a small "reading lamp". I've even got one of these lights connected via a UPS (backup power supply) I have in the living room, so that light should stay on at all times even if/when we have a power outage in the house.

Nice Light
This light is bright and good quality. It is easy to install and very sturdy once installed. The neck is extremely flexible and holds its shape well. Makes a good desk lamp.

Switch has a short life
I used this light for my home coffee brew setup, so turned it on once or twice a day for 10-15 min for a year. The light is bright, adjustable, offers two colors (colder and warmer). I like it.The on/off switch stopped working after a year for me. Others also reported the same issue. I ended up replacing the entire controller and switch to a regular light switch. For $10 it is a good buy, but the design flaw is still unacceptable imho. The little switch that keeps dying is worth probably 3 cents, why not replace it for a 5 cent version that would actually last?
