Great I needed a light in my pump hose. Put light switch in and mount this on the outside

Good switch cover
I had to modify the sweep arm on one of these to allow the switch to be fully engaged. If you use a quiet switch which has a soft closing system, it may not engage fully with this actuater. Best to use a switch with positive spring action to open and close. Otherwise, I do like it. This cover is waterproof and no worried about storms and switches if its installed proberly.

Far superior to the junk from the big box stores
I needed to install 2 outdoor switches and went to my local big box stores. The only outdoor weatherproof switch covers they sold were junk. I needed them right away and reluctantly bought them anyway. Then I came to Amazon and found these Bell covers which are far superior

I'd buy another if I needed it, but I don't, and that's ok.

Not exact fit
The screws which appear to be plain zinc coated steel will probably rust into a metal box eventually. But I have issues where the cover when screwed down tightly, doesnt let the switch turn on completely. This was odd. As it is a safety switch for a greenhouse roll up, i need it to work all the time, except when someone switches it off to prevent operation. Not sure what the fit issue is, but the switch is a standard cheap name brand. So now its operating with the top two screws loose, and the bottom screws removed. Will have to go back and fix it, maybe with another brand. Not sure about the snap in part which operates the switch. That should be installed at the factory.
