does the Aluminum leach into food and can this be used on electric stove?

No. Aluminum doesn't leach into the food. The pots and pans are great. I use them on an electric stove without problems. However, don't heat food on high. These create and hold a tremendous amount of heat in the pan, even at moderate heat. You can boil water in the pots as well.

what is the ceramic layer derived from? is it Thermolon?

I really don’t know. All I do know is that it’s a really good saucepan.

What are the dimensions of the sauce pan? Please give me the inner diameter, at the bottom of the pan and at the top of the pan. Thank you.

Michael, The inside dimensions are 7.75 inches at the top and 6 inches at the bottom. and of course 3 quart volume. I hope this helps! -Nathan

Yes Joe. How observant you are. It is all aluminum. Except for the handle which is ceramic. I worry about the cognitive state of people with increasing frequency. This question adds fuel to that fire. I own 2 of these. Three frypans. They are as described Joe. PS. Are you for real?
