No. The seal is not water tight.

Q: Would these be difficult to open for a 14 month old?

No, my 11 month old daughter was able to open them

No they are not hand stamps and don’t see how they really could be.

Q: do these eggs pull apart or unscrew?

They basically pull apart. You can kind of screw them together but it doesn’t latch/lock. My 1 1/2 year old can easily pull these apart and put them back together
