The amount in DHA in this is perfect and hard to find. Great product.

This may sound odd, but taking DHA has helped clear up the dreaded "pain fog" that chronic pain creates; I have Ehler's Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, and I heard about DHA on a fibro support group from some women who had been put on it during their pregnancy, and they talked about how they had so much more clarity when they were taking it - many of them continued to take it afterward. So I tried it, and found that it worked fairly well, and when I ran out of the first batch of this Mega-DHA and couldn't restock right away, I started having a bit more fog. This DHA is really good for the price, and you get quite a bit in each gel, so you don't have to take as many gels. It's pretty efficient and I didn't get much in the way of the "fish aftertaste" that some people complained about with other brands of DHA. You also get some EPA, which never hurts, as well as Omega-3 and Vitamin E. It's much better than having the DHA mixed in prime rose oil, which is one of the other ways to get DHA. The price for the product is also pretty good. It's a really high quality blend, you're getting two bottles, and it brings it down to being much cheaper than what you can typically get in a brick and mortar store. And since it's a Prime product, it can have free shipping if you have the Prime service, making it even cheaper. I really suggest trying this trick if you have chronic pain. Building up DHA, which is a core component of your brain, seems to help bring down the "fog" a lot.

These are the best Omega -3 on the market for high DHA consumption. DHA is what you want the most of, EPA is also good to have, STAY AWAY FROM OMEGA 6 & 9's!!! A lot of people misunderstand Omega's and waste a lot of money on useless junk some companies are trying to market to you as a "health fad" so here is a quick break down to help you understand what to look for and why. DHA - Best form of Omega 3, able to cross the blood brain barrier, An omega-3 fatty acid that represents more than 50% of the omega-3 fatty acids in the brain. EPA - Good form of Omega 3, able to work on tissue and cells (yes, good for your heart), NOT ABLE TO CROSS THE BLOOD BRAIN BARRIER! Omega 6 & 9 - It is UNHEALTHY to take in extra omega 6 & 9 as your body already produces these in abundance. Stay away! The product itself is great. I enjoy all the benefits of the oil. The problem is shipping in the hotter months. I was home to be handed off a very hot box by the delivery driver. While no clumping of the pills took place its very disconcerting to receive such a hot cardboard box. I opened the box and the bottles were hot on the outside. I quickly opened a bottle to check the temp inside with the pills. It was negligible. Still I don't know how long my package was under damaging conditions. I would advise anyone to stock up in the colder months because there seems to be no way to regulate this issue or it would have already been figured out.
