I love the taste of these. Has the perfect balance of "spice" and flavor. I can see myself get addicted to these. I got these for a cruise and to potentially help with sea sickness. Though I might just start using these as candy also. Just to make it clear, the spice part isn't too strong at all. Some reviews might have mentioned that part, but the only people who would think it's too much would be people that have extreme intolerance to things like that.

GINGER/PEAR FLAVOR: The taste is not the best ever, but compared to other hard "candies" with medicine purposes, this is pretty good. The ginger is a little tingly but not overwhelming; the pear is subtle but a nice balance to the ginger's spice. This is still FAR better than chewy ginger candy for me! They're not overly sweet, and most of the ingredients look okay (although I do wish it had pure pear vs "natural flavors" - the extra transparency would be nice, especially for those of us with "natural" allergies). The candy lasts about 15 minutes per piece, and one is usually enough to get rid of morning sickness for me (hence the 5 stars). I'm pleased with the purchase, but wish it was more affordable or available locally.

Yes, these are expensive. But these have been an absolute LIFESAVER during morning sickness. I've had mild-moderate morning sickness with waves of moderate nausea. I take one of these drops and I feel almost instantly better. For some reason, 500mg ginger root pills and ginger chews do not help me but Tummydrops make me feel better almost immediately. I'd say I usually feel better for anywhere from 1-3 hours and because I'm only getting moderate waves, these work great for me. I decided to get the ginger pear flavor because although I don't mind ginger, I saw some reviews about the original ones having a strong, spicy taste. I think the ginger pear flavor is perfect, slightly sweet but not overwhelming. These do cause a slightly dry throat by the end of each drop and I always need water on hand once I get through the drop, not sure if that's just me though. 25mg of vitamin B6 + tummydrops has made morning sickness much more tolerable!

I bought these for my daughter, who has chronic stomach aches after eating, with no clear cause or resolution. I gave them a taste test, and they taste great, but my daughter is four years old and a hard candy is not the safest bet for her. I may try dissolving this in water and making a tea, or allowing her to dissolve it in her mouth while she’s seated and I monitor closely to make sure it doesn’t go down the hatch unexpectedly and choke her. I like that there is only 2g added sugar and I’m hoping that the amount of actual ginger in the lozenge is adequate for the antispasmodic effect to ease her stomach pain. I will update the review when I have an answer to that, in the meantime, I wish they made this in flat lollipop form.

I know that the Preggie Pop Drops are the brand that most people buy but to me, these were much better for my morning sickness. They don't taste as good as the other brand and have kind of a "spicy" flavor from the ginger. The pear went nicely with this flavor and kept it from being overpowering. Overall, this product actually helped my nausea rather than just giving me something that "tasted good". I would much rather have a product that works even if it means sacrificing on the candy-like flavor.
