Very tasty (updated)
Very tasty. Unfortunately I had to stop drinking it because of either my caffeine intolerance or a green tea intolerance. Darn, really enjoyed it. I think I will try having it maybe once or twice a week and see how that goes.UPDATE: The seller responded to my review about the caffeine issue and advised me to try steeping the tea first, dumping that to reduce the caffeine, then steep again for consuming. I am trying that and it seems to be working. The tea seems just as tastey, I am enjoying it. I have a cup in the AM with a small tab of butter, some coconut oil (.5 tsp), and fresh organic lemon juice, sometimes cutting up small amount of whole lemon in there. Love it, really good. Oh, I also got into the habit of throwing in some herbal tea (raspberry - celestial seasonings). Really good.

Great Green Tea
Very nice tasting green tea. I cold brew it--I just put the leaves in a glass pitcher with a straining top and fill with cold water and let it steep overnight in the refrig. I don't have issues with it becoming bitter by brewing too long or too high a temperature.

Finest Green Tea
I am not a tea expert but I have enjoyed varieties of green tea for several years and Gyokuro tea is the most comfortable tea that I have used. I have used triangle tea bags and loose tea and so far I have not seen much difference. I would recommend Gyokuro to any green tea lover.

Great cup of tea
I can't tell you how much I enjoy this tea. The flavor is fantastic-earhy, delicate. It is well worth the price

Buy something else
This “tea” is absolutely not what it is supposed to be. It looks like hay. The product is brownish, full of stems, and not uniform in texture. It is extremely poor quality. I have been drinking Gyokuro from different sources for years. The real deal is almost a bluish-green in color, fresh smelling, shiny, and soft. This stuff is basically just a weed. Waste of boiled water.

This is the real thing
Lived in Japan for many years and drank Gyokuro every Spring in Kyoto. This is the real thing my friends. Buy it but brew it without destroying its delicate taste. Only use lukewarm water in the pot. Boiling water will destroy the fragrant first sips of the inverted sweet-bitter flavor.

Mild, clean taste
I am an avid Japanese tea drinker and have tried many different Sensha brands. This is the first time I have tried Grokuro Green Tea. I found it has a very pleasant mild taste and not quite as sharp as most Sensha teas. I it an excellent relaxing tea to enjoy at the end of a long day. I highly recommend it.
