I have had this A80 model for a few months now. The best thing about having this machine is that I can actually make my kids pick up all of their toys everyday! I tell them that if the robot can run in your room, that means you have half of your daily cleaning task done. I have to say that the robot has really helped me keep the house more organized and clean. Granted, some of the deep cleaning still needs to be done by myself but the robot can take care of most of the sweeping/maintenance need in the house. Sometimes I do need to move the robot around to cover more space. For the vacuuming function, A80 can run on both the carpet and hardwood floor pretty smoothly. I use it on the first floor. It won’t fall off the stairs( to our basement), it’s relatively quiet and the suction power(adjustable on the app) is pretty good. I can set my daily cleaning schedule, check cleaning history, and check the battery status on the app pretty easy. If the machine gets stuck, I can check the app for the reason, like too much hair getting stuck in the roller or the main brush needs to be cleaned. It would be nice if it can directly tell me the reason and then I find that their A10 model has that voice feature, which is nice. Maybe I can add that to my robot fleet. For the self-docking function, the robot is pretty intelligent. After one to two times, it seems to familiarize itself with the cleaning area and can go back to the charging station by itself without any problem. However, sometimes it fails to get back especially if I move the machine around too much. Maybe the complexity of the house plays a trick on it or I simply pick the machine up and move it around too much? After I section the area off by those virtual wall barriers and avoid manually moving the robot around, the situation improves and the robot can return to its charging station more consistently. The other solution I can think of is to get another robot with the virtual wall/block separating them into two cleaning zones. Overall it is a good machine for its price. I will recommend it to my friends.

I wasn't sure a robot vacuum was for me, so I chose an inexpensive basic option.I love this little machine. We have 5 cats and it's incredible how much hair it picks up every time I run it. It even gets out embedded hair in a big oriental rug.If it gets hung up on something it just stops and politely beeps; I'm completely comfortable leaving it run when I'm gone.Easy to empty, easy to clear jams when it sucks up a cat toy or whatever.It is not very good at finding "home" when it needs to recharge, and seems to have favorite areas from which it would prefer not to stray. Our condo is 1300 sf; it takes about three charges to do the whole home.Next time I'd buy, from the same brand, a more sophisticated model with more programming features.This would be an amazing gift for your adult kids for their first apartment!

After a few weeks of using this, it started giving an error and stopping. Customer Service had me clean some hair out of the sides of the brush. It stopped giving me the error, but no longer has suction. It just flicks particles of debris all over the floor and runs over them multiple times without picking them up.I started a request during the return period, which iLife responded to. However, because it took me longer to re-contact customer service, I cannot return this. Complete waste of $200.

This product has saved me time and energy in cleaning and constantly going around with broom and dust pan. My house has all hardwood floors and I have a dog who is shedding his winter coat. Robbie, as I have named my machine, goes to work every morning at 9 and gathers up all the dust and hair that has been deposited. When I come home from work, I simply empty the catch basin and it's ready for the next day. Now I can go a full week without having to do any manual floor cleaning. Thank you for such a wonderful product and for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Pros: Good suction power. Useful for spot cleaning.Cons: None of the modes are consistent as far as surface area that gets covered. There are always huge sports left untouched. Sometimes it will randomly shut of with no error or being caught somewhere. I’ve also had to clean so much hair out of the brushes.I pretty much have to babysit this thing to make sure It’s cleaning where it needs to clean, which basically defeats the purpose of a robot vacuum. You get what you pay for, and next time I’ll pay more for something more effective.

Does an awesome job! Runs for a very long time, is able to get up on all my area rugs and returns home on her own every time. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Like the title says, its a great device and cleans well, but would just die out cleaning rather than return back to its home base. With the app on my phone I would get an alert the battery was low, but then I'd have to tell it to go back to base it wouldnt do it on its own.

It is very thorough and works quickly on wood floors. It's suction is not great on our Persian rugs so it doesn't completely pick up pet hair there. The positioning onto the charger is not a precise action, so some days the unit is not properly charged. When it is charged correctly, the unit cleans several rooms for over an hour before running out of charge. It is quieter than our older Roomba. I only run it when I'm at home, as it frequently gets stuck in transition spots (on and off rugs, under cabinet overhangs, over extension cords). We have a lot of pet hair, so overall, I like what it can do, and try to run it daily.

The media could not be loaded.  This has been a surprising and satisfactory investment. I needed a vacuum that will help keep my space clean and give me my time back and this does just that, quietly too!It works while I work and I have not had to switch it off due to noise.It was very easy to setup, finds its way around and stops to avoid danger (beeps when this happens).I will recommend this to anyone looking for something that does the job sans the gadgetry.

When the vacuum stayed running it worked alright. It’s not precise. It kept stopping with no reason in the middle of a room. When it stopped or battery died partially through cleaning it does not pick up where it left off. Very dissatisfied with quality overall.
