First off, I ordered two of these almost a year ago, and they still charge up reliably during the day and give off a bright light at night, despite the fact that they do not get full sun exposure on my porch. In my experience with a number of different lanterns, this is already a big plus, as most other canvas style lanterns tend to give off a very dim light and/or stop working pretty soon.So, a friend just gifted the third one of these to me, which prompted my review.All three look exactly like the product description image, and shine nice and bright at night (see pictures).I also love the unusual shape, the light weight, and of course, the Hawaiian/tropical look with the palm leaves, which complements my porch design.The lantern comes in a flat box, so you just have to pop it open, and put the two thin wire rods inside to reinforce the structure, very easy.

Beautiful outdoor hanging lantern. Solar doesn’t work well at all; that being said, the solar light shines like a pinpoint beam from under solar panel and diffuses to midway in globe, which reminds me of a beam to the middle of the earth, if you will.Would be perfect if the solar panel worked as advertised.

Color is turquoise green, not blue as shown. I was trying to match turquoise accents on my patio, I will keep this, but it will need to go in another location. Too bad as I would have bought several more. Price when I bought was around $20. Not sure I would have paid more than that, even for matching. That being said, it feels substantial, not cheap.

Just love these Soji solar lanterns from Allsop Home and garden. Got another drum lantern this time as well. I have solar lanterns from Allsop that are several years old and are still going strong. One or two bit the dust. Not the Soji lanterns’ fault however. In fact their longevity is amazing here in Vegas as the dry heat and the wind do not allow solar items to work or even remain intact for very long. Most lesser solar items last one or two years max. Oh they’re gorgeous as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Cheaply made for the price, and the light is hideously cold. LED lights come in all spectrums; this light's color is such a turn-off, and impossible to replace the fixture without destroying the lamp. I'd have returned it if the return shipping wouldn't have wiped out any refund.

The lantern stopped working after 2 1/2 months and I see no way to fix it. Very disappointed as it is a pretty lantern.

These lamps are the absolute best. They are cute, functional mood lighting for your yard/landscape. I love the patterns in the daytime (can't really see them at night). I really like the colored lamps better as they just really show nicely in the evening/night time. Worth!

The solarpart of this lantern does not work.We love our other lanterns and have had these before. This is the only one that doesn’t work.One day it works and then it doesn’t for a week.Jan Hansen
