Super nice grip, just like a vans sole. Easy installation. I replaced an original set of Schwinn grips on a 21 year old MTB and couldn't be happier. Some are perturbed that there are no instructions included. I think ODI sees it as... if you can't figure this out you should take it to a shop. But since not everyone has worked on bicycles their whole life, I thought I would write up some basic installation instructions. See below.How to install:Open package, remove contents. Contents are: four aluminum locks, two grips, two bar end caps and four set screws. First grab the four aluminum locks and four set screws. Drive the set screws in but don't tighten them all the way. Press the four locks onto the grips ends by lining up the channels and pressing hard until they click in. They should be flush with the rubber part of the grip. Now snap the end caps into thew locks on the bar end side on each grip assy. If your bar ends are roughed up and the locks wont pass over the lip, use a file to smooth them out. Slide the whole grip assembly onto the bar. You may have to loosen the brake levers and shifters. Push the grip to where you can feel the outer lock slip over the bar end and hit the end cap. Adjust the grip and tighten the locks down. Adjust your brake lever and shifter if necessary. Ride.
