The Babydust Method: A Guide to Conceiving a Girl or a Boy Paperback – March 30, 2016

After 3 sweet baby girls, my husband found this book when we began to think about adding 1 more to the family. I read it and mapped out my plan. I tracked for 7 months and got pregnant but had a chemical miscarriage. So I added wild yam cream to my regimen to help balance my hormones. After 3 months and a little more research, I began watching Nosagirl on Youtube. I made the decision to push the BD window up to 8-20 hours after my LH surge and this worked. So in total I tracked and BD for 9 months and finally I became pregnant. IT IS A BABY BOY!!!! We are so thrilled. :)

My husband and I purchased this book when I heard about it through a gender swaying group on facebook. I recently lost my mother and my 69 year old maternal grandmother, I have no sisters and so having a daughter meant a lot more to me than anyone around me could understand. We have two precious little boys and wanted this baby to be our last. I became hopeful after reading all of the reviews on this book and couldn't wait to receive it in the mail. We read it together in two days. My husband's career is in the science field and he started off skeptical, but after reading this book he was convinced that it would significantly boost our chances. I remained apprehensive, because I figured after having two of the same gender, my odds would still be in the favor of that gender. We followed the book exactly, and I believe that was key. We became pregnant after our first try, and 10 weeks later I had a Harmony blood test done at the Dr.'s office and found out a couple of weeks later that it worked for us! We are expecting our baby girl July 1st 2018! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Kathryn Taylor, author of the Babydust Method. I would recommend joining the Babydust Method facebook group, if you purchase this book, it was great to be able to ask the author and the other admins questions along the way. If you are looking to balance out your family in a natural way, look no further, this will most definitely increase your chances greatly.

It was taking a while for me to conceive my second child so I started basal body temping and using Opks. I found out I don’t ovulate till 2-3 days after my first positive so that makes sense why I kept missing my peak fertile window time. I was praying so hard and believing God for a healthy baby girl so I did what I could do for a sway and I knew God would do what I can not do. With the help of this book (they mention not all woman ovulate 24 hours after Opks) I conceived a healthy baby GIRL!!🌸 I’m so excited and thankful. Because my body took time to ovulate after positive Opks I waited till the day after my first positive with one attempt only because I knew I wouldn’t ovulate for another day or two (1-3 day cut off) I tried for 3 plus months before my positive Opk and on my first positive Opk before I moved my one attempt closer** without getting pregnant. Just listen to this book abstain and use your one attempt the way it says and move it a little closer to ovulation if your not getting pregnant after months and months..you could be like me and not ovulate for acouple days after your first positive Opk. So happy I get to hold my baby Girl in five months 🌸🌸💕

This book was so interesting. I've actually browsed through it again since having my baby because I was so fascinated by it. This book was so easy to understand and it truly made perfect sense. I loved how it explained precious gender selection methods and went into depth about why and how the key factors of the method worked without losing me in the nitty gritty. I meticulously followed the method and we got the boy we were hoping for. Not sure if it was luck or this method but based on the studies she references I would say it wasn't just luck. Thank you!

Will update my review if the method works, but honestly here’s the whole trick:If you want a girl, wait to have sex a day BEFORE you expect your LH surge and do not do it again until your fertile window is closed that cycle. If you want a boy, wait to have sex a day AFTER your LH surge and then again the next day. That’s it, the whole method in 2 sentences; I just saved you $9. It’s VERY similar to the Shettles method and I’m annoyed that it sort of claims to be different. I guess the explanation is different -but the recommendations to conceive a boy vs. girl are very similar.

If you are trying to conceive a Boy or Girl specifically then this is the book to get. The science is solid & the logic behind it. As well as going into detail on the how and why, it keeps the explanations and testing schedule simple. My wife and I were trying one last time for a boy(#3), starting in April 2022. We missed that window so we followed the books instructions and tried a day sooner at the next cycle. Boom! We are now @ 15.5 weeks and the doctor just confirmed, via blood test, that we are having a boy, due January 1st.This book, combined with a box of LH (ovulation) test strips, is a sure fire way to get the gender you want. If at first you don't succeed, adjust the timing by 24 hrs. on her next cycle and try again.
