2002 Civic, 7th Generation Hella Dual Horn Setup with Aftermarket Harness and OEM Wiring
I used this Hella dual horn setup with an aftermarket One-to-Two Honda horn wiring harness (ULZOZN Car Horn One-to-Two Converter Wiring Fit for Old Honda Acura, Y Type Horn Adapter Wiring Harness) on a 2002 Civic, 7th Generation. These horns worked great and should install at minimum for 2001-2005 Civics with a single wire horn circuit. The aftermarket harness was not long enough to reach the passenger side of the car so I added about 4 feet of 20 gauge wire and loom. I mounted the second horn on the passenger side in an existing bolt hole with the lengthened harness zip tied to the bottom of the core support. I used the factory location for the first horn. I had to clock both horns for optimal install by loosening the nut on the ground tab to orient the harness plug where I wanted it, then tighten the nut back down. They were pretty easy to install overall. Functionally, there's no issue with the horns at all. They sound great using the existing OEM wiring circuit. I modified nothing on the original harness. 5 stars for the Hella dual horn setup with existing wiring, mounting and circuit.

27min install on RAV4 2024 LE Hybrid
Did not need a wiring harness. To understand how to install, one YT video made sense: "2019-2024 RAV4 HORN UPGRADE" by Matthew Melton. Gently pop open a few inner grommits and lift them out, use 10mm socket on 2 bolts, then 3 bolts that hold on the hood catch, lift out the plastic cover, and viola, you can see the two 12mm bolts that hold on the existing horns. At least twice as loud and sounds like a real horn, but is now "normal" instead of "weak". Not arbitrarily more masculine or aggressive sounding. Highly recommend.

The car should have come with horns like these!
These horns are a superb upgrade! They are much louder than the stock clown car horns in a 2025 RAV4. I have a RAV4 PHEV XSE, and I did not need the extra pigtail extension that is sold separately. These horns easily attach to the unmodified stock wiring harness. No need to cut the tape or cover or move the wires (in my car, anyway). One note: These horns ground through the mounting bolt, so if you want to test them when they are just plugged in but not bolted up, they won’t work like that.

Loud! Like I wanted.
Re: HELLA 012010971 Black 12V Trumpet Horn Kit (Universal Fit-Blister Pack)Replaced the polite "excuse me" Japanese horn on my wife's Toyota Corolla with a "get the hell out of the way" horn. Note: each horn has two spade style connectors. You must use one as a ground and one to power. The mounting bracket will NOT ground these trumpets. I deducted 1 star for not providing a grounding wire or, at least, the parts to make one. I happened to have the wire, parts, and tool. Just had to drill a hole into grounded body metal and bolt in to complete the ground. I used an Amazon SEINECA 1 to 2 wiring kit to connect to the power side of each horn and back to the power cable.

Very loud and very easy to install
The horns on my Camry went out. They sounded like a mouse chirping. It was embarrassing to use the horn.Someone recommended these in a forum so I ordered them. They are very loud and sound like a truck. They can hear me now at long distances.I tested them in the garage and my ears were ringing for a while afterwards.

They make sounds!
Beepity beep-beep-beep, these horns are great! They have a nice tone and are loud enough to get the attention of the person in front of me who is screwing around on their phone at a green light. I also like to tap out relaxing bossa nova rhythms on them in my driveway. The perfect gift for anyone who likes sounds.

2025 Prius Horn Upgrade
Easy to install and works perfect. Great upgrade to the toy horn provided by Toyota on the Prius. Just note this only comes with the horn itself. On the gen5 Prius you’ll need to get the wiring harness for two horns for a Toyota (not expensive) and an M8 bolt to install the second horn.
