Would this hat fit a larger size head?

I'm a 7 5/8, which has always seemed Large by comparison... and it still fit easy and requires me to tighten the band just a little in the wind. That said, what is a "larger size head". You might want to measure your noggin one day so folks have a reference point. ;)

The neck flap extends down about eight inches and its overall horizontal length is about 13.5 inches. This is the best hat I have found for keeping the sun from my neck and face.

Neck flap is too short, & i get sunburn between lower neck & top of shirt, due to tilting head down when backpacking. can you make neck flap longer?

No. This one comes down pretty far but this was for a 6 yr old.
