CamelBak Chute Mag BPA Free Water Bottle with Tritan Renew - Magnetic Cap

The media could not be loaded. Needed new water bottles for a hike up a New Hampshire mountain. So far, I like what I see. Nice sturdy carrying handle - fits 2 fingers. Bottle has wide mouth when cap removed so you can fit a water purifier stem in it. Cap/mouth that you drink out of is big as well so you can take a good drink, not sucking thru a straw. Cap is screw on and is leak proof when screwed down. The magnetic cap is a nice feature too. Note, though, most other reviews get it wrong. The magnet is in the carry handle and holds the cap to it so it doesn't smack you in the nose when you tip the bottle up to drink. It is NOT a magnet that holds the cap over the opening to keep it from spilling. If you flip the cap over the opening without screwing down, it is a good fit and may prevent a major spill, but it will still leak unless you screw down. Design looks like it will be easy to clean too. For holding, diameter seems a little bigger than your average water bottle but not uncomfortable. I will update after my hike.

The clear plastic is sturdy and shiny clear. The lid has plenty of threads and precision molded to make sure it doesn’t leak. The flip cap was a real surprise. It also screws down tight but in addition it has a magnetic seal. I just flipped it closed and turned it upside down. It leaked a few drops but if you are carrying it upright or if the bottle gets knocked over there’s no mess and the convenience of quick access to get a drink makes it a joy to use. Also the lid is wide enough for easy cleaning. I actually bought this bottle to carry distilled water while traveling with my cpap machine but I liked it so much that I bought another one to keep with me all day long. This company has been making products for drinking water on the go for years and the quality and attention to detail really shows.

I only dislike the fact that it is just a little too big to where it won't fit the cupholder in my car. But other than that I like the handle that makes it easy to carry around and the bottle doesn't leak at all.

I purchased the 16oz bottle for my husband when he is working out. He loved it so much he requested another to take to work. I love how easy it is to clean.

I bought several water bottles to replace one's we lost over time. My requirement was no straw, and a locking lid. For this one, the magnet kinda holds it in place, so if you have a bumpy ride in the car, the lid will keep it from sloshing everywhere. But his favorite part is that the lid also locks into place, so he can drop it in the bottom of his laptap bag when he travels and it will NOT leak. A great feature.

These are my go to and I have been using them for years. 1 liter in size ,so size does matter 😆 and easy to drink from during exercise and on the go in the car etc. Easy to keep track of daily water consumption. Great water bottle!
