Silverpoint is a wonderful, retro medium. It's quite different from graphite and totally different from charcoal. Anyone who loves drawing should give silverpoint a try. This pencil is very well made and does a beautiful job. Though the silver point cannot be replaced, it will last a very long time.

Neat product still evaluating but seems solid

I use these styluses in my silverpoint classes and they are perfect for students to try out Silverpoint techniques without investing too much. The classic shape of the stylus offers a good grip, I give it five as a student's instrument.

You get what you pay for I guess. The handle seems like it’s made of plastic, not wood. The tip was bent either in shipping or they shipped it to me that way. Definitely don’t think it’s actual silver. It’s been fine for learning the basics of metalpoint drawing but recommend purchasing a better quality stylus.

If this is silver (really?), it is the hardest I have ever encountered. Unusable., cuts ground. I use low temperature silver solder formulation instead.

I am still trying to learn how to make more intricate drawings without seeing the full effect at the time of the drawing. Feels like an ink pen but must control the pressure on the paper. Good deal for the price.

Fast delivery. This stylus is well balanced and comfortable to use. Silverpoint was a bit thicker than I was expecting but a good addition to my set.
