Best banana clip I’ve bought. The only down side is how thick it is, but that is what makes it stay and hold so well (in the video, I show HOW WELL, I cannot move my head around that much with any other banana clip without it falling). It’s so easy to open it and re-distribute your hair, without taking it all the way down. It opens up perfectly. This is the only clip that I can gather my hair into a ponytail, put the clip on, and then redistribute my hair evenly throughout the clip before clasping (shown in 1st 40 seconds of video). That said, you don’t have to flip your hair upside down to use this one, but obviously that adds a lot of volume if that’s what you’re going for (2nd part of video attached). I can see it not working for thinner hair, but for me (medium/thick hair) it’s perfect. I wear these clips every day. I LOVE them. Excellent quality if you use them correctly. If you’re buying a banana clip, make this one your first purchase. Also, if you want to have incredibly cute pony selfies!

okay so theyre not great for thick hair exactly. i saw these videos on yt shorts of people with long hair flipping their hair back and catching it with these to get a voluminous ponytail, but if your hair is actually thick, these wont stay snapped closed. i can mostly get them to work but i have to finagle it a little.

Nothing holds my curly hair like a banana clip! These are cute and of great quality. I get lots of compliments and don't have to worry about my hair falling.

I'm sure these are great if you don't have thick hair, but I do. It's not very long, maybe just around the shoulders, and curly. And I have a portion of the underneath layer shaved into an undercut, so it's not even all of my hair. But even if I can force these closed, they immediately pop open. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with thick hair, but I think they would be great for fine or normal hair. They have plenty of teeth which make me think they would hold. The colors are nice, though.

Very poor quality. Breaks super easy. Can't get them to work/ stay. Looks cheap. You get what you pay for

They are fantastic. They hold the hair tight, they are pretty, you get many of them for the money in wearable colors for all hair colors, you can do many looks - high or low pony tail, mohawk if you place it higher up, great base for edgy up-dos... they are also very very sturdy. I just bought another pack. Love them, you will too. Note, if you hair is extremely fine and straight, they might be a little loose on you... you might need to texturize the hair for them to hold. Overall, great option, good price. Worth it all day.

Too bulky. The clip doesn’t lay flat to your head. I love the idea with the prongs being able to grab the hair better and the colors were beautiful, but its just not comfortable and made my thin hair stick straight out from the back.

Edit: reached to the seller and they were extremely kind and helpful. Offered me a refund or replacement for the broken clip! Have had no issues with the other items and will continue to purchase from them in the future :) Loved the product initially, tried it out in one color and it looked great. Went to grab for the black one and it was completely broken before I even had a chance to use it:( am a little disappointed I paid for 6 clips but only 5 are usable. In saying that, the working clips are great. I have very very thick long hair and this holds it securely. It also makes my hair look extra long. Will definitely be a staple during the summer, if it wasn’t for the broken clip, 5/5, but as one was broken, I’ve rated accordingly
