A saite zu groß
Die Saite hat einen ok Klang, deswegen zwei Sterne, aber diese A Saite ist dicker als der G Saite, was unangenehm und komisch für meinen Sohn beim Spielen ist. Es liegt vielleicht daran, dass diese Saite aus den USA kommt, und die anderen Saiten nicht... auf jeden Fall, musste ich einen ganzen Satz (nicht Pro Arte) kaufen, so diese Saite war für uns nichts wert und nur ärger für meinen Sohn und die Lehrerin.

Great strings for a small Cello at a super price
These are fantastic strings for a small cello. They give a great depth of tone, much warner and richer than strings normaly found on learner cellos. It takes about a week for the initial bedding in and because they are over wound synthetic cored strings they have good tuning stability. These are a must for anyone with a small cheep Chinese cello. Make your music teacher happy.

Great strings
I replaced the strings that came with the student cello I just ordered from Amazon. WOW!!! I can't believe the difference in the sound and for about 1/3 the price I would have paid for them in my local music store. Before ordering I asked a professional cellist if they were good and worth the price. He said "yes" on both counts, but I didn't expect them to make such a difference in the sound. I haven't even gotten the bridge and sound post prefessionally set yet and I haven't played a cello for 9 years and I sound good! Can I recommend these...YES, YES, YES!!

Don't stay in tune
Maybe I'm just wrong in comparing this to my viola strings, or maybe it is the instrument itself, but it just does not stay in tune. The new strings I bought for my viola stay in tune for quite awhile. Not so with my cello. Don't know if it's due to string quality or composition, or not. They certainly sound nice though.

Beautiful sounding string!
These are my favorite. Mellow, clear, and resonant without any harsh harmonics. You get what you pay for folks!
