My granddaughter wanted a book with hairstyles. She absolutely loved this and Carrie’s it with her to try out hairstyles. She is six and has been braiding her own hair for several years. She loves the choices in the book and quite often she will try several styles on the same day. Very well written with great pictures!

Bought this for my older tween daughter who needed some hairstyle inspiration. Instructions are good and has good pictures, includes some more basic styles and some slightly more complicated. I was hoping my daughter would be doing her own hair with the help of this book, but the instructions are more geared toward a parent styling a child’s hair. We still really enjoyed the book and it is great for learning the basics.

Great images and insteuctions. Would like to see more styles, but should be a good starter for my daughter to get some ideas. I bought used in good condition.....most pages were dog eared, not wroting, but the dog ears are a bit tacky

We got this book for my daughter's 6th birthday and both she and her 4 year old sister love it. I love that we're stepping out of our pigtail braid routine and trying new things! Ordered as Christmas gift for 11 year old granddaughter. Arrived with pages bound upside down and backwards. (I told her it would be a collector's item someday.) I just glanced at some styles and it seemed do-able for her. Should have ordered one that was spiral-bound and could be laid flat.

Great ideas some a little tricky for me but good ideas

This book is great to find ideas for hair. It doesn't have a lot of suggestions for hair shorter than shoulder length or hair that is very curly or kinky.
