Excellent Experience w/Purple Leaf 10'x14' Gazebo
Our gazebo (10x14) arrived in perfect condition, no bent parts etc. The boxes were a little worse for wear but these are packaged well and we went through each and every item to make sure they were ok. My wife and I built this over two days and approximately 14-16 hours. That said, we could of probably built it faster but we were being careful and following the directions exactly. The hardest part of the build is clearly making the first couple of attachments when the roof and lower frame come together. Other than that, it was straight forward and fairly easy to build...its just time consuming because of the sheer number of parts. Once we had it together, we bolted to our concrete patio with the included anchors. The gazebo is, in our opinion, very well built and attractive out on our patio. Unfortunately, we didn't start building until almost fall so we aren't going to get a full season of use out of it this year but none-the-less, it looks amazing and we are very proud of our little oasis. Highly recommend Purple Leaf, very reasonably priced if you compare to any big box or home store that carries gazebos. Pros: Very attractive, well designed, gutter system, inner and outer curtains, mountable to concrete w/included hardware, roomy, clear instructions with good illustrations, sturdy and stands up to high winds. Cons: Was missing a couple of the main screws (x4) (was able to find at Menards easily), very lengthy build time and you will need an extra pair of hands several times through the build, the gutters will clearly clog easily so you have to stay on top of that.

Excellent Choice - Sturdy, Well Made, and Looks Great!
Love our gazebo! It does take at least two people to assemble, but the instructions are detailed and complete, and all of the pieces are clearly marked. At one point we recruited a neighbor to help hold one long side up while I attached a short side. Once we had the four sides assembled and in place, things progressed quickly. My advice is to read the instructions carefully and completely, and don't head into it "willy-nilly". If you don't have good mechanical skills, find someone who does to help, and don't be in a rush. All that being said, we are very happy that we purchased this gazebo. It provides a great shelter from the sun and the rain, and it looks great, too! In addition to photos showing the finished product, I included one that shows the sides with the legs attached to the horizontal rails and laid out, ready to assemble. I also included one with the sides and the upper roof section in place. Once we got to that point, it was just a matter of a couple of hours or so to get the roof on, and a little bit more to hang the curtains in the screens. We purchased the light kit and strung it along the inside frame part way up the under side of thebroof, and secured with zip ties. We also installed an outdoor ceiling fan made specifically for gazebos. The three ceiling hooks that are built in to design of the gazebo made that so easy! We've enjoyed dining out and, here in Florida's panhandle, the zippered screens have kept the mosquitoes and other bugs away. We've discovered a "bonus" use of our gazebo. We had our first good freeze of the year a couple of weeks ago. We gathered all of our outdoor potted plants under the gazebo, placed a space heater on a stand inside and closed the side curtains. All of the plants survived and are still thriving!

Excellent design and quality product
These comments are for the 10x14 gazebo. I agree with the majority of comments from other five-star reviews. The gazebo arrived in five boxes, ranging in weight from 37 to 114 pounds. The heaviest box was the smallest, containing the steel roof panel sections. The packaging was very robust, with extra-thick cardboard plus reinforcements where needed. The roof panel box was damaged slightly by FedEx during transit, but the robust packaging prevented damage to any panels. With over 1000 individual pieces, assembly takes some time. In our case, we installed it on our deck that is elevated six feet above ground level, and with only seven feet clearance from deck to soffit, so this presented a few additional challenges, but the assembly process is such that no ground-based ladders were needed. The gazebo is very well designed and is obviously manufactured with tight tolerances to ensure quality. The pieces fit together very well; however, it's important that the base legs and frame be plumb and square so that subsequent pieces fit well. Because we assembled the gazebo to be adjacent to the sliding doors exiting our house, we appreciate the built-in gutters. The gutters are not extremely deep, but they seem to work well with light and moderate rainfall rates; a heavy rainfall rate will result in overflow. We bolted the gazebo to our deck, using 2x4 sleepers between the deck joists to provide a secure anchor. We've had some strong winds since, and the gazebo was very stationary, with no rattles or movement that we could detect. Mostly, we need sun shade, and the gazebo screens don't provide much shade, so we removed them. The solid curtains work well, and are made of heavy fabric that should stand up to the weather for years. The dark gray color has a relatively high emissivity, so solar absorption and re-radiation of infrared to the inside of the gazebo will occur. The vent near the top, between the two roofs, will allow for convective release of warm air to help cool the inside, especially if all the solid curtains are in use. Overall, I think this is a very good product, one that I can recommend. We look forward to finally being able to use and enjoy our deck!

Sturdy, well designed, and good value
We purchased the 12x18 Purple Leaf gazebo after spending a long time comparing options and reading countless reviews, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. We needed something durable and well-built that would fit our deck space, and this model has exceeded expectations. The structure feels solid and immediately added both comfort and function to our outdoor area. In the fall, it’s already providing excellent shelter so we can enjoy our new fire table and heater without worrying about the weather. When summer comes, we’re looking forward to finally having reliable shade. We’ve already spent several evenings under it watching football, and it has quickly become the favorite spot in the house. Even our dogs love it, and our tween is suddenly eager to hang outside with her Nintendo Switch, which says a lot. Purple Leaf delivered exactly what we hoped for: a sturdy, attractive gazebo that transformed our deck into usable space year-round. Highly recommend.

Thankful my husband didn’t divorce me after this project
I purchased the 12x20 (the larger option) and it was an absolute nightmare. I think the company did as much as they could for assembly and directions. I was way in over my head for the project itself. I am younger female, active, and pretty handy. I have put MANY things together by myself. After reading the reviews I figured my husband, Mother, and Father would knock this project out in one day……. NOPE. This is BY FAR the WORST project I have ever committed to. I should have known when the product showed up in 6 separate boxes that I needed help carrying. This project took 4 people, 3 ladders, and 2 FULL days to assemble. We also used 2 power drills instead of the hex key. I could NOT imagine using that small and tedious hex key over 2,000x. The power drills sped up the project SIGNIFICANTLY. With that being said, this is a very high quality item and I am very happy with my purchase. I still would have bought this product knowing all the frustrations we went through building it. It has been up for about 2 months now and has been through several high wind and rain storms. There is no rust. We also did not drill this into our concrete. We have left it unsecured and just standing on our concrete. It is very heavy, sturdy, and has not moved an inch. I would recommend this product but whoever buys the 12x20 should be FULLY prepared for at least 2 full days of work, multiple ladders, a power drill (instead of the hex key), a large working area, and at least 4 people to help carry and hold the roof in place when setting the framing up. GOOD LUCK *** 1 YEAR UPDATE*** Very sturdy. No signs of rust or erosion to the product after 1 year. I live in the mid west where we experience all 4 seasons. This year (2025) we had significant wind storms and tornadoes. We ended up drilling the middle podiums to the concrete just in case. Hasn’t budget a centimeter even after an 85 mph wind storm. Provides shade and does not get too hot in the summer. Roof holds up heavy snow. Very durable material and pleased with the quality.

Great product and worth the expense, but be patient
ORDER AND DELIVERY: I got the 10x14 and it came in 6 boxes. 5 of the 6 boxes were delivered less than 48 hours after I placed my order and the last box was delivered three days after that. BOXES AND LABELING: Boxes are clearly labeled 1/6, 2/6, 6/6 and etc. However, the boxes are not packaged and numbered according to in what order you need to use each piece. For instance, the first or second set of parts you need to assemble may be in box 4/6. It would have been helpful if each box were labeled with which part letters were in the box. I found myself spending some time digging thru the boxes to find the part letter that I needed. ASSEMBLY AND TIME: The more people you have to help with assembly the better. I would absolutely say that two people are a minimum. It took 18 hours to assemble. An instruction/assembly booklet did come with the product and it was packaged in box 3/6. I would not advise jumping ahead while going through the steps because it will make some parts not fit the way they are supposed to later. Two free standing ladders aren't a must, but I highly recommend it and it would be very difficult without two. The product only came with allen wrench/hex key, but a drill made all of the difference given the fact that there are over 400 screws. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. ADVICE: 1. DO NOT completely tighten all of the screws as you work through the steps. We found that alot of screws we had completely tightened needed to be loosened to make other parts fit later. 2. In addition, the instructions call for the cap on the topper to be placed early on. However, when it was time to put the metal on the topper, the cap had to be removed before the metal would slide into the track. 3. If your are having trouble getting the metal to fit/slide into the tracks or the screw holes won't line up, it may be because the frame isn't 100% level or square (even if you think it is). Although you may be tempted, DO NOT cut the metal to make it fit. It isnt fitting and the holes arent lining up for a reason. BIGGEST PAINS: 1. The rubber stoppers that you have to install under the metal. There are alot of them and they slide. 2. The plastic guards that have to attach to the ends of the metal. There are also alot of them and they constantly pop off when trying to get the metal to slide in the track(s). OTHER: Although there are three holes per post, the product does not come with bolts/screws to anchor the gazebo to a deck or etc. It would have also been nice to have some sort of covering for the bottom of the corner posts to make it look smooth. Therefore, the bolts/screws that you use to anchor the gazebo are completely exposed because there is no cover for the bottom of the corner posts. *Note: when buying something to anchor with, DO NOT get soft metal lag screws, they will snap off at the head. Instead, get a high quality heavy metal. REGRET: Wish I would have gotten a bigger one. OVERALL: Yes, assembly took ALOT of time and effort, but I am extremely pleased with this product. It is of great quality for the expense. It is steardy and looks nice. I would buy this again and will recommend. While installing, be patient, do not rush and the outcome will be great.

Intuitive Assembly and Nice Product
Purchased 12' x 24' which arrived promptly in 7 boxes. Purple Leaf reached out to me to confirm everything was undamaged and in order, which was nice. The assembly took 2 days and instructions were easy to follow. I did this assembly mainly by myself but needed my husband to hold up about 20 lbs of the top frame for 10 minutes in order to get it square and level while I screwed in and tightened the sides. A cordless screwdriver with hex/Allen bit makes everything go a lot faster, but the pieces are designed to shore up and strengthen each other, and they only fit the correct way, so I wasn't having to take pieces apart because I had them backwards, as I've had to do many times with other, some-assembly-required furniture manufacturers who will remain nameless. The finished product is extremely sturdy and lovely. It's tall enough to fit my 6'7" husband without bumping his head, and we had 15 people under it this weekend for dinner with plenty of seating room. Advice for assemblers would be to assemble with plenty of natural light, as it's difficult to align panel holes in the dark, have several comfortable step stools and ladders handy, as I'm 5'3", and it was tiring to get on and off of them to move and adjust them all the time, especially near the end when you're already tired and putting on roof panels, and be gentle with those roof panels, as they bend easily until they're fully bolted in place and won't align to one another if they're warped, albeit it's easy to bend them back with some pliers and/or a rubber mallet. Lastly, it feels super flimsy until you have everything assembled and fastened, but I believe this is purposeful, as each panel/piece is light enough for one woman of average strength and assembly savvy to assemble 99% of it, so, there you go. Great product, and would buy again. Note, we do not live where snow and/or tornadoes/hurricanes factored into our decision to purchase, and we were not paid for this review; it was not incentivized, so I just hope it's helpful for shoppers.

Stunning Gazebo – Built to Last and Looks Amazing!
We couldn’t be happier with our PURPLE LEAF Hardtop Gazebo! The 10x12 size is perfect for our backyard, and the quality is outstanding. The roof not only looks elegant but also provides solid protection from sun and rain while also allowing air flow. It’s been through a few storms already and held up beautifully. The included netting and beige curtains are a great touch—functional and stylish. They add privacy and keep bugs out without making it feel closed in. The whole structure feels incredibly sturdy, and the installation instructions were clear. It took time and patience to assemble, but the final result was well worth it. This gazebo has truly transformed our outdoor space into a relaxing retreat. Whether we're entertaining guests or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, it's become our favorite spot. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their backyard or patio with something that’s both durable and beautiful!
