IT. WORKS!
I went to the salon for an ombré and ended up with brassy orange hair. This toner saved my hair and legitimately changed the color in one usage! I’m so happy I don’t have to go to the salon again and pay money for them to fix something. I recommend!!!!

It works but is very subtle
TLDR: I had to use this product 3x back to back to tone my brassy orange afroI have natural coily textured 4c hair that is almost black. Did one round of bleach at home and thankfully it came out mostly even, but was orange and very brassy. I don’t want to use real toner until I get to the level I’m aiming for, so got the Overtone blue conditioner to get it presentable enough so I can wait a month to bleach again safely.I followed directions initially and they said to use a quarter size amount and leave in hair for 2-3 min. My hair is fine and thick but barely 2 inches long. After rinsing I checked mirror and it had done nothing, so I did it again but with double the amount. I ended up using conditioner 3 times in a row and left it in my hair for several minutes while checking inbetween to see if I was satisfied. I probably used about 5-6x the amount suggested. I think this product is great if you need a very subtle tone boost, but otherwise probably won’t buy this again and look for something a bit stronger.

Did not work as a toner or conditioner
I bought this conditioner after seeing someone in a video recommend it for reducing orange tones. The person did not seem to be affiliated with the product, so I thought it might be worth a try. My dyed hair tends to turn more orange as the color fades, and I wanted something to reduce that brassiness. I also read reviews of the product which were mostly very positive. Most people said it reduced the orange tones in their hair and that it was a great conditioner, so I figured it would be worth a try. Unfortunately for me, it neither reduced the orange or conditioned my hair well. I tried it on both wet and dry hair (some people recommended trying it on dry hair for better results). I left it on each time for at least 5 minutes. Nothing really worked. It's a pretty small bottle for $18, and I was only disappointed.

Nothing noticeable on while hair after 2 weeks
I have natually white hair with some stubborn blonde hanging on. 58 years old. I am trying everything there is out there. This product smells nice. Reasonably priced but used for 2 weeks and not a think changed with the white or the blonde that is still in my hair. No better no worse. Everyone's hair is different and I am thinking maybe I have to move to the black shampoo and conditioner next and give that a go. I can only recommend if try it and it works. It did not, sadly, for me.

Used on Red Hair to Help Neutralize
Used this on my dyed and highlighted copper red hair to remove some of the orange while maintaining the red. Worked very well! Didn’t noticeably dry my hair out either. A+

No Scent
After only 1-2 washes the tone worked to help my color go from Warm to Cooler tone. I didn't notice a scent but the texture is smooth and seems to condition very well. I am a student to coloring or after care.
