I finally found a replacement cookie press that is sturdy and easily makes my Christmas cookies without any issues. I have tried many others that failed. I like it so much that I plan to make Easter cookies. The shaker is also very handy.

It works well, can make different shapes and design. An important factor here is the type of dough used. I was interested in working a classic dough for shortbread cookies ( sugar, flour, butter and egg), but it works with other kind of harder cookies, biscuits, etc. I am happy with the final results:)I like that the tool is made out of metal and is sturdy, easy to clean ( by hand only, and this is not a downside for me, so easy, no big deal) and is made in Italy. I find nowadays very hard to find a nice, good quality product not made in China. Have to pay the price:)

It was a bit of a splurge but well worth it. The Marcato biscuit maker is very high quality, easy to use, and lots of fun to make old fashioned press cookies. It works with all the old recipes that once were ubiquitous with the old Mirro cooky maker that I remember from my childhood. I also like that it has an adjustment for 2 different sizes, large & small. I also like that it's a lever instead of a trigger like on other presses. The black thing that comes with the press extends the lever to make it very easy to press the cookies. There's a large selection of cookie shapes too.

Ich bin durch eine Backgruppe auf dieses Produkt aufmerksam geworden. Aufgrund meiner Arthrose in den Händen musste ich schon einige Jahre darauf verzichten diverse Kekse zu backen. Das kneten und ausrollen der Teige von Hand ist mir nicht mehr möglich. Sicher gibt es Hilfsmittel, die einem das kneten erleichtern, aber eine Alternative zum rollen war mir nicht bekannt. Mit dieser tollen und robusten Gebäckpresse gibt es ab sofort wieder jede Art von Plätzchen. Einfach den Teig einfüllen und ohne großen Kraftaufwand auf ein sauberes Backbleck pressen. Nach dem abkühlen lösen sich die Stücke ganz leicht vom Blech. Das anschließende Säubern von Hand geht schnell und einfach.
