A really good quality coconut oil! Worthy of a purchase. Goes on nicely and does not weigh heavy or sticky.

This is the best moisturizer I've ever used. The particles of monoi oil are smaller than other types of oil, so it soaks into your skin/hair. The smell is warm and light, with a vanilla marshmallow scent. I use this on my body immediately after a shower, as well as in my hair (I have dry, wavy red hair). It makes your hair soo soft and shiny, but don't overdo it.I also use this on my face at night after I apply my retinol cream, and fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes have plumped and decreased. My skin is naturally SUPER oily, and though it seems counter-intuitive to use oil on my face, it actually helps my skin to not be as oily. I have only used this at night, not under makeup, so I can't vouch for the results of how my skin would react as a day moisturizer.It's true that the oil solidifies in cooler temperatures, but instructions for dealing with this (a common issue with coconut based oils) are written on the back of the bottle. I can't believe one reviewer threw their bottle away due to this! Don't waste it, ding dong!!! This stuff is like the holy grail of multi-purpose moisturizers!The only issue I have is that the bottle design causes the oil to come out all at once, but at the same time, I absolutely love this retro-style label. It's like 60's style Hawaiian kitsch.An inexpensive, wonderful product, I would recommend this brand of manoi oil to absolutely anyone!

I first found Monoi on a trip to Tahiti when the natives told me to use it to repel mosquitos, which were abundantly the only downfall of being in paradise. Monoi moisturizes, is a minimal sunscreen, and also I apply this to the ends of my hair after washing it to prevent split ends. I love the smell of Monoi and will use it daily till the day I die. Thanks.

Its an oil so I add this on top of other vanilla based lotions or in certain pulse points. Sillage/strength of the scent is strong but not in an obnoxious way and lasts throughout the day. The perfect vanilla/coconut smell!!

I'm making another review because the last review I made, I left one star. I read reviews with the pictures and saw everyone talking about mold growing in theirs so after reading that, I looked in my bottle and saw something black. I got scared and left a bad review. I learned later that it was actually a vanilla pod! This oil does harden up but I run it under hot water and it turns to liquid. I also stick my finger in the bottle and use the hardened oil. It just melts right on your skin! The scent smells like sugar cookies and the moisture lasts all day! I'll definitely be buying more!

This product makes the Best sugar scrub for your body. I am grateful to find it on Amazon. Quite a bit more expensive but an excellent product. It’s also lovely to put a dash in your bath.

Don't be mislead by the negative reviews, the black substance is NOT mold, it's a vanilla pod... Adding to the fragrance. The oil is good. It comes in a solid because the main ingredient is coconut oil. If you know anything about oil you know that's what coconut oil does, so it's not a problem for me. All you have to do is rub it in your palms and it instantly melts. When you can't get anymore out just run it under hot water. It's hydrating and my skin soaked it up fast. The scent is LOVELY, it lasts anywhere from 3-5 hrs for me.HOWEVER, the price is a little steep for the size. I've also used oils that lasted all day instead of 3-5 hours, so that's reason for 3 stars. And once the fragrance completely wears off there is kind of a funny aftersmell. I can't pinpoint it but it's weird.

Great smelling oil that has a scent that lasts a long time. The perfume is very strong so if its too much, I suggest diluting it with a neutral carrier oil.

ho ritrovato qui un olio che amavo tanti anni fa e che nei negozi non trovavo più, stessa bottiglia, stesso profumo, olio vellutato e aromatico, ne basta poco e lascia la pelle morbida e idratata. profumo dolce, la base è olio di cocco, quindi solidifica a basse temperature - io invece di metterlo ogni volta sotto l'acqua calda, lo scaldo la prima volta e ne verso metà del contenuto in un barattolino basso e largo (tipo quelli della crema), così di volta in volta prendo la quantità che mi serve con un cucchiaino o la punta di un coltello: col calore delle mani si scioglie subito e lo trovo più pratico

Ich mag süsse Düfte, aber dieses riecht nicht zu süss, eher angenehm und weich.Nach dem Duschen/Baden auf die noch feuchte Haut auftragen. Oder als Pflege ins feuchte Haar geben und später ausspülen miz Shampoo.Das Öl wird bei "Kälte" fest und bei Wärme, oder wärmerer Umgebung flüssig. Ich habe es angewärmt im Badewasser und dann eine kleine Menge im leerem Cremetiegel abgefüllt. So kann man es besser entnehmen. Leere Tiegelchen bekommt man im Drogeriemarkt.Das Highlight ist die kleine Blüte in der Flasche selbst. Ein richtiger Hingucker.Tolles Öl, leckerer Duft! Wird weiterempfohlen und nachgekauft.
