I have used Crew Forming Cream for years, and have occasionally tried different products, but none have ever been a close match. This Forming Cream from Level 3 is my new go-to. It is a bit stiffer in your hands, but once its goes on and sets into your hair, its a pretty similar hold (if not a bit stronger) and low shine. It does have a pretty strong scent, but luckily I like it.I have pretty thick and straight hair, and this product works well for me.

Great product. Works great in my son’s hair and leaves a lasting flexible hold all day. We will definitely purchase this again.

I didn't try this product because of the smell. It was a little too much for me. It's not an offensive aroma, it's just too much.I'm guessing most young men will like it but again, it's not for me.It's going in my give away pile.

This is just as good, if not better, than the $18-$20+ American Crew forming cream I was accustomed to. This stuff is $6 for 5oz which is more than you get with the American Crew and it’s just as good, if not better topped with an amazing scent. Can’t quite describe the scent. (My wife says it smells like Aloe).Overall: you get the bang for your buck here. I wore this all day including an evening 2.5 mile run. This stuff withstood it all! A pro tip with it: a little goes a long way with this cream unlike some of the other more expensive stuff I’ve had like Crew Cut and American Crew forming cream.Definitely grateful I found this and may or may not have ordered a 3rd container at $6 per container for a 5 OZ CONTAINER!

Pros: subtle scent smells good but not overpowered. Water based so easy to rinse out. Hold is strong. Wet lookCons: not a cream and not as style ableOverall this is more like a hair gel. It's kinda heavy and weighs down hair and doesn't give volume if you have thin hair. I'd compare it to the gorilla hair gel glue. Cheap but not really a forming cream but more like hair gel
