Cape Cod Map (National Geographic Trails Illustrated Map, 250)

This was a very nice map. It open and folded up really well and is much more durable than a regular paper map. Unfortunately I needed more street detail than this map had so I returned it. Also it wasn’t sent in any bag to protect it so when I returned it I put it in a nice zip lock bag to protect it for the next buyer.

Got it to see bike and hiking trails. Very difficult to see the trails as marked and seems to not show trails I know exist. Also cuts off just west of Mashpee, omitting all of the western coast, Falmouth, and Woods Hole. They could have put them as an inset, as they show all of the Bay, which isn't relevant for a TRAILS map. Sending it back.

This is a good, sturdy, ROAD map of the outer Cape, but the “trails” on it seem to consist only of the paved rail trails used by bicyclists. If you want to see where the rail trail(s) will take you, and how to drive your car from town to town, this map is for you. If you seek off-pavement hiking, keep looking for other resources, because you won’t find that info on this “trail map.”

This map is wonderful- it marks the exit numbers on route 6 which is helpful. This is a very clear map, easy to read. However- it starts in the town of Sandwich- Bourne and Falmouth (all of the most south western part of Cape Cod is missing. It a bummer that such an inclusive map is missing a big part of the cape!

Great waterproof design. You can’t rip it. I also could put post it notes on the map.

On a photo trip to Cape Cod I picked up this map along with the Photographer's guid to Cape Cod and the Islands, having the map on this trip helped me find where the beaches and lighthouses were in relation to each other, it is also close to being a plastic coated map rather than a plain paper one wich do tend to wear out faster.

I never realized there was SO much to see and do down on the Cape. This map is highly recommended because of all the detail and info found on it. I've always just headed up to NH, ME, and Vt. We now find ourselves sitting down at home with this map and plotting out different areas to visit. Normally there's even More to explore and discover than we even had anticipated. Great map! I highly recommend you have it while traveling around the Cape. Wise investment.

Very easy to use

Nice map, waterproof and tear proof so great for outdoor adventures on the Cape. However, it states on the map that you can download a digital version for use with smartphone or tablet. The download link does not exist. In fact, on the official National Geographic site natgeomaps.com, The Cape Cod trail map isn't even available. Bit disappointed as the map was only printed 2016.So based on this misinformation, I'm only giving 3 out of 5. Otherwise it would have been full marks!!

Great Map - lots of detail - a must for Caoe Cod

Lots of detail; very useful map. Frankly, there don't seem to be too many other available maps of Cape Cod. This one was perfect in my estimation.
