The media could not be loaded. This polish is quite thick and wasn't the easiest to apply, but the effect is beautiful! I struggle to get the 'base' sparkle from the images, but for a cat eye/magnetic effect, it works really well. The magnet is very strong as well. Might not last very long since the polish is thick and the bottle small, but I'm very pleased with it. Photos show the nails under a bright light and natural lightingUpdate: I’m actually knocking a star off as the polish can look quite muddy and patchy over colours, which makes it much less flexible than I wanted. I’ve added an additional photo of the green to show this

Save your money. Have done this numerous times but the magnet etc does not work

I’ve had to take a few stars off for this silver cat eye gel polish because there’s something just a bit off about it. I’ve had other cat eye gels, including a different shade of cat eye from this same brand, and I know how to use them correctly, which is forming my basis for how I feel about this one. My issue is that the particles within this gel seem to just ‘vanish’ when you use the magnet over them. I don’t know why and it’s very frustrating as my other cat eyes don’t do this. I find that I have to go over and over the polish again and again with the brush to bring back the particles and then try the magnet again until I get an effect that I’m happy to cure. That’s not to say that the polish doesn’t ‘work’, it just seems to not have the expected result

There cat eyes are amazing

I think I am going to have to practice more with the magnet to make the shapes I want. However I am impressed with the colour , I chose the blue frosty, its bright, it has a lovely shimmer to it, when the magnet does its work it mutes the shimmer so the light reflects differently to those bits. I didn't think it would work having seen the small magnet but it does. Will buy others colours now, but I do need to practice with the magnet more lol
