It’s useful in SO many ways for SO many people
Another “thing” you didn’t know you’d use. I’m not as young as I used to be and some things get harder to do. Ever just f I n a l l y sit down only to drop a thing you need, which sucks because your back hurts… everything hurts! I got this for pins and needles, scissors, etc. but use it for other odds and ends. My grandkids have fun with it for??? Whatever they do with it. Personally, my grandma/spidey senses tell me this is gonna end up with my long shoehorn I used for my cowboy boots that disappeared, yet to be found ( see my other reviews). This is not a heavy duty thing, but it IS stronger than I thought it would be, and definitely surprised by that. While I was still working in a construction based trade, we had similar tools to get screws or tools dropped into motor housing or in places we couldn’t reach. It would make a nice tool for a tool bag as it is compact and small, and weighs nothing. The thing one thinks that they’ll never use…. Until they do. Definitely useful, not expensive, functions like it’s supposed to, picks up things you thought would be too heavy. Would be a nice piece or part of a Father’s Day gift. BUT AS A WOMAN, who worked in a commercial mechanical trade for over 20 years (in designer clothes, heels and acrylic nails… I was always trying to keep my femininity), as the only child of a mechanical engineer and architect, raised on job sites from an early age … PLEASE remember that men/others are NOT the only ones using power tools. This little item is thoughtful, especially for those who are older or with disabilities, etc. Would make a nice little… just thinking about you… type of gift. The price means you can’t go wrong.

Classy finish for Office Shirt Pocket.
PROFESSIONAL addition to the shirt pocket. Light on the pocket edge. Functions easy and smooth as you would anticipate. The weight is functional to any professional pocket or pouch.

Convenient to have on-hand
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Seem to work well. Hope they hold up over time. So far,, so good. These things are handy to have when I drop a needle when I'm stitching. Very convenient to tuck in a project bag or next to my chair.

Works wonders for old knees
I'm 76 years old and unable to get down on my knees looking for sewing pins and needles. This extension magnet is amazing. I bought 10 for my sewing group.

Pocket size
I got taken by these look a lot bigger on the Amazon page then when it arrived at my house. Pictures of it on Amazon are bigger than actual size and make it look bigger. Picture of guy holding tool, not even close. The picture leads you to think it is sturdier than it actually is. These are typical China nock offs of the old ones it sounds like other reviewers have. They are designed to the minimum to be functional with no concern about durability or longevity. If you want something to pick up occasional 1/4- 20 screws, and that you can spread around to have conveniently around, this is a 5 star.If you need something you are going to pull out use, fold up, and put away all day long, I suggest you shop on.

Very useful tool for retrieving falling tacks, staples, etc.
Fairly self-explanatory. These are magnets on the end of a telescoping pen. The magnets are fairly strong so use care around metal objects. Remember to store them safely away from electronic devices and credit cards.
